Is there a friendly church in the Tampa area that believes
in the true Word of God and preaches it right from The
Holy Bible? Having problems finding friendly churches
that is concerned about people who are lost, and reaches
out to them and anyone new attending their church.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a naturalist anti-believer,of course there are exceptions to every rule. They should really make an effort to get outside city limits once in a while and check LIVING out first hand, actually see the stars in the sky and the countless wonders out there in this beautiful old world.TV does not do it justice.Cities are spiritual cesspools.I can understand people thinking that there isn't much to life if all the wildlife they see are rats and pigeons amongst the concrete, glass and steel. Some people have never even breathed fresh air, think milk comes from a carton, and can't imagine peace and quiet actually exist! These are the blessed gifts of modern urban "life".

If this is where the true spiritual path is, then how do you practice your ability to turn your focus inward and begin to walk that path.
How do you learn to go within and use your attention like a spotlight in the landscape of your own psyche...looking at your own thoughts, memories, associations, reflections, and internal weather and motion? It takes more than just meditation...maybe a quest?
Do you also have inner feet which give you mobility? Maybe inner hands to grasp?
How do you cultivate your awareness as an inner perceiver and traveller.
Many people are not aware of the activties going on within their own inner world, let alone explore the mystery of themselves.
Do you merge your inner and outer worlds so that the path within becomes the path without, (inside coming outside?) thereby allowing the physical self to go along for the ride? If the outer becomes the inner, and the inner becomes the outer...does that make it easier? Walking in Spirit?
Sup?

why it is that people think that satan tries to attack the wicked...sinfilled people? He has no need to because he already rules their lives. He wants to break down people that are just the opposite.

Is it because I'm a woman that I don't understand why someone would kill themselves and innocent people for sex?

Thanks.

Because that is what you were raised to believe? Because it is what you were told to believe? Was it personal discovery? Did you convert from your original religion?

I am an atheist. I was born "Christian" however my family was not strict and we didn't go to church. However after personal reflection I realized I do not believe in god because it logically makes more sense that there is none to me. Oh and please do not try to convert me to whatever religion you are.

Do you think this goes against what you believe in or the Bible? If you have tried it before does it work Or is it a gimmick?

Just take a look around their website. I'm thinking of reading their book. I could check it out from the library but is it worth my time? I'm not sure what to make of it. But it is interesting.

Basically I think it seems to be saying that our subconscious makes notes, and that these memories of traumatic events can hold us back in life and keep us from being happy. I think it is supposed to help us realize or even develop our full potential or better than what and where we were at prior to this material.

It seems there is a need to identify oneself with a certain regilious label. So, how does one aline themselves if religion itself causes skeptism?

I don't believe Christ wrote the bible (physically or supernaturally). I don't know or care who wrote the thing. AND I don't care enough to pick it apart piece for piece and apply to my life. I also don't buy a lot of the stories - like the flood - the cenus - and trip to Bethlehem. The essence of my belief/faith is that a man name Jesus walked this earth. He died and his story lived. Obviously there was something special about him...and the only evidence is the bible. Which is yet another contradiction...

Can someone be a Christian and not believe in the bible? Why do I need the bible to be a Christian? Is the tie between Christianity and the bible a new one?

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

If so, can you give an opinoin...Please comment if you have read the Book in its entirety.
>>>>>>".Governing Body decided that certain conduct between husband and wife in bed would be grounds for divorce and disfellowshipping (formal excommunication and shunning). After the edict was issued (The Watchtower 12/1/72, pages 734-736) numerous marriages broke up as a result. Then, seven years later, the Governing Body changed its mind and reversed the policy. >>>>>>>

If God can't have unforgiven sinners in his presence, I can accept that. I think the system God set up was bizarre, but for this question I'm willing to accept it. The question is: why is the only alternative eternal suffering? If sinners who weren't saved by Jesus Christ on Earth can't be in the presence of God, why can't we just be given a second eternal earth or something? Why is the only alternative eternal torture?

I mean, by the tone of some of your answers to the most benign of questions leaves some doubt as to your theology.
I do know that some people are closet atheists, or pagans, but they are ashamed to admit it. Isn't it time you came out of the closet, not like Senator Craig or anything, but just admit it.

I got one where the person emailing me not only called me stupid, but a whore as well
awww how sweet. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Do you ever get nice emails like this?

Subject: Why do you broadcast your ignorance like that?
Message: And your promiscuity as well? That question you asked about heaven as if anyone really knows how it is, or as if the bible ever really described it, reveals not only your stupidity but it shows that you're a whore. But it's not surprising considering you're an atheist.
