Joking, right?

God gave them the sense to stay out of a flash flood. But in this day and age, as we see on the news, there are some dingys out there that would try. Wouldn't you think there would be more positive things to put forth in this world, than the sorry excuses man has for blaming everyone else, even God for his own stupidity? lol

I guess you can. But you'd be wasting your time and money. Those that are 1-Atheist or 2- hold to the theory of evolution would say that: 1-It can't be Gods fault because He doesn't exist. Or: 2- Evolution is responsible for such because evolution controls how things evolve. (I assume that includes the weather.) It's odd how people want to blame God (in this case, take God to court) when bad things happen, but when good things happen they don't seem to thank or give credit to God for it. Why doesn't it work both ways?

First the burden of proof would be on you. First you have to prove he exists then you have to prove he caused the flood. You could try but I doubt you would win and if you did I'd like to see you try to collect a payment from him. What would you do garnish his wages? There seem to be a few problems with the idea.

You can, but you'd get the same effect as filing against the Easter Bunny.
Many of the "conservative" court justices laugh at religion, but keep up appearances because they have to win elections.

I bet, technically, you could(although I don't think it would be correct) - but he wouldn't show up in court and likely, technically, you'd win the case. But at the cost of what? You would never receive reparations - at least not in this life. And of course, God isn't under our laws - it's because he allows them that they even exist.
I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find a lawyer willing to do so, as long as you paid him up front.

You can file anything you want, but it would probably get thrown out. and if you did get a judgement, do you think he would pay up?
And what would you lien to collect?
This is not a very thought out question is it?

No because we live in a fallen world. Satan is the blame for all the sorrow and evil.
