Way to generalize. Some people can look at nature and not think "god's work."

This anti believer lives twenty two miles outside the nearest city limits. Even have my own telescope and look at the stars regularly. Watch about a half hour of TV in the morning and the same at night. Mostly news. As far as wildlife? Two deer just outside my fence not an hour ago. Milk doesn't come from a carton? Hmmmmm.

I thank God every day for living in the country. I couldn't imagine how extremely unfulfilled my life would be if I lived in a city...sure I could've had a cat or dog...or fish. But in the country I was able to have a pet lamb...and many other animals. I was able to run around from morning til dark and not fear someone would kidnap me. I went to a school where the teachers actually cared about ME and not meeting state standards and not worrying about people if they failed the class...
Of course there are 2 tales to each life...I wish I were in the city, I would have nicer clothes(not very many options when shopping around here), I would have a fast pace life, not ever being bored, and having OTHER things to do besides getting on the Internet...
But of course I don't think I would've found my strength if I weren't in the rural area...so I do not regret that either.

I'm a believer, and come out of an urban environment. The rural experience isn't the only valid one when it comes to spiritual development. There is wonder and beauty to be found in the city, too. Cities are not "spiritual cesspools", as you claim. Life is what you make it, regardless of where you live. I choose to make my life joyous. No trip to the country necessary (although I've taken plenty of them in my time, and am always glad to come back when it's over).

Just because one is an atheist, doesn't mean he or she can't experience awe. A beautiful world is not an indication of a creator. I don't live in a city, and I am an atheist, so I think I just disproved your point.
I can marvel at the stars, and at natural beauty, without thinking an invisible sky-fairy made it all.

Ummmmm....yeeeaaaah.
I am Atheist. I live in the country right next to those cows you speak of. I am an animal-rights activist and a witch. I love nothing better than to walk in the woods. I have always been a country girl. I see coyote, deer, rabbits, spuirrels, bobcats, bats, etc on a regular basis and love to stargaze.
Kind of shot your theory all to hell, didn't it?

I think you need to read more.
Umm many atheist are in fact naturalist.
In the Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins there are many mentions of non-believers that are naturalist.
Also I am not opposed (anti) to believing, I just don't. Reading will assist you in using words in the correct context when writing.

Actually, I am a big fan of astronomy so I get out a lot and look at the sky. Though I have never drank (drunk?) milk from a cow.

Right on! There is a ton of evidence for God in nature that it astounds me to hear people try to use it against him. If people would actually accept that which is so obvious, that there IS a creator instead of just saying it appears so, they would finally realize purpose in life instead of thinking we are without purpose because we are an accident or product of randomization.

You've obviously not spent much time in a hospital. I have- I've seen a lot of nature, mate, and it's far from beautiful when you take away medicine and science. Whatever, keep living in your fantasy land.
