First of all, there is ONE God. Not several. Not three. One triune God.
Second, God spelled out the important stuff in the Bible. Jesus tells us that the greatest things we can do are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. In these two commandments lies the fulfillment of all the principles taught in the law and by the prophets (Old Testament, or Jewish scriptures). Anything we think God is telling us must be tested against the scriptures, if scripture does not uphold it, it's not from God.

First I have only one God. The Trinity. And God does give signs at times. Never as big as a plague but things happening in my life direct me somewhere or a sudden thought to do something that I had absolutely no intention of doing yet persists til it is done. Sometimes the silence itself directs me in Gods will. But ultimately if you want to do Gods will all you have to do is read the Bible.

Well, I believe in one God - and I think he laid out what he wants his followers to do in the bible. He even sent an example for us to follow - his own son. So if I strive to be like Jesus was, then I must be doing at least okay. Jesus never killed anyone - he didn't lie, cheat, or steal. He helped who he could and told others about how loving his father, God, is. If I can be anywhere near that - then I know I will be making my God happy.

Because in the Bible Jesus says " Blessed is he who does nto see but believes," it is because we believe we don't need signs, like the Jews asked Jesus for a sign so they would believe him but he said " This Genertion shall not see a sign!" if you have Faith you do not need signs!
