They were both peaceful people that preached love and unity untill they got their armys, then they both lead invasions.

They both had absolute control of the populace and it was against law to question them.

Are there any differences apart from the time, ethnicity and geography?

I do not know anyone of whom I can properly ask this question. So please do not answer it unless you actually celebrate this holiday. I would like to make a Day of the Dead Altar for our scout troop haunted house (because they are so colorful and unique) but I dont want to offend anyone's religious beliefs. Is it disrespectful to do this. I would have to do it with out the normal religious symbols but some of the ones I found on the net do not have them.

In fact, Christ was not even his name, nor was it Jesus! The name "Christ" comes from the Greek word Christos which means the annointed. That is, Christ is a Greek translation of the Hebrew title "Messiah". The name "Jesus" on the other hand, is a latinized version of the Hebrew name Esau (muslims call Esau)

since you keep arguing that calling someone "father" here on earth is blasphemy, do you consider that title for Aristotle as blasphemy?

When God killed the Earth because it was too violent, why didn't he order Noah to take all the babies from around the world? Surley this wouldn't have been a problem for a guy who took two of every animal.

Or were the babies violent as well? Is that why God killed them?

I've read many answers that use Adolph Hitler like a foam bat to batter the opposition.
"Hitler was an atheist!"
"Hitler was a Christian."

But over the course of his reign of terror, he made many an animated, passionate speech. Here are a few quotes:

"My feelings as a Christian point me to my Lord and Saviour as a fighter." Adolf Hitler, in a speech delivered in Munich, 12 April 1922

"Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."
Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Ralph Mannheim, ed., p. 65, New York: Mariner Books, 1999

"We were convinced that the people needs and requires this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations: we have stamped it out."
Adolf Hitler, in a speech delivered in Berlin, 24 October 1933

Any doubt now, he was Christian? Just asking ...

I heard that Catholics don't like abortion because it's killing the new Catholics that should be born. Not just because it prevents babies from being born, but just that there are less Catholics. Is it true? Or at least partially true.

I was wondering when I learn the fact during my childhood

If he (Isaa) himself shouted many times that he is not God

He is the messenger of Allah - his duty is to delivery Allah messages to common people

Then why people tell him as God

The simple moral lessons contained in the bible are more appropriate for people living simple lives tilling fields and building barns. You don’t have to worry about your children being exposed to too much knowledge and becoming too educated for religion. No exposure to a decadent, gratuitous and immoral society which, judging by your posts, is a real thorn in your backsides. So come on guys, how about it? It’s inevitable that a time will come when you guys will be forced to choose between being part of a modern society or holding on to primitive unsubstantiated beliefs.

"When you think about how fantastically successful the Jewish lobby has been, though in fact they are less numerous, I am told—religious Jews anyway—than atheists and (yet they) more or less monopolize American foreign policy as far as many people can see. So if atheists could achieve a small fraction of that influence the world would be a better place."

Do they think it's a choice? And don't say because the Bible says so. God is supposed to love everybody, so, why did he create homosexual people? So, he would have someone to hate?
