the brutal murder of men, women and children solely based on their religion. That in my view makes Hitler an evil person whereas muhammad was forced to flee and then fought a war to get back to mecca.
Neither perfect because war isn't the way religion should work but to compare Hitler and mmuhammad is just plain stupid

Momo won. He lived to a ripe old age and he founded a religion and an empire that lasted for hundreds of years.

"Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."

Adolph Hitler said: "Today Christians ... stand at the head of [this country]... I pledge that I never will tie myself to parties who want to destroy Christianity .. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit ... We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theater, and in the press - in short, we want to burn out the *poison of immorality* which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of *liberal excess* during the past ... (few) years." [The Speeches of Adolph Hitler, 1922-1939, Vol. 1 (London, Oxford University Press, 1942), pg. 871-872]
Hitler stated: "Christ was the greatest early fighter in the battle against the world enemy, the Jews . . . The work that Christ started but could not finish, I--Adolf Hitler--will conclude."
"God told me to strike at al-Qaida and I struck them, and then He instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East." --- G.W. Bush , Commander in Chief, Abu Ghraib torture
