Satan was a Muslim and his superiority was the fact he was made from fire. When Adam was created Allah commanded everyone (Angels and Satan) to bow down to him. Satan refused claiming that since he was much more superior than someone made from clay.

That's when he got booted out from heaven and down to earth. He vowed to separate mankind from Allah and get them follow him.

But don't forget, Satan also says his 5 daily prayers, that's not a joke, that's a fact.

Satan is the original rebel. His real job (according to the Bible) is to deliberately misguide people, so that they end up sinning. (Read the book of Job to see what he is capable of).

To teach people to break the rules, you must know the rules -- so my guess is he knows them inside out. ;)

But Satan cannot touch you unless God wills it. (See the Book of Job for this too.)

(All my opinion and interpretation)

I liked what the writers of "Bedazzled" wrote.

Quote from the movie:
"You know what -- all this about me and Him? It all boils down to you," the Devil tells Elliot as she releases him.

Doreen Irvine, who became Queen of Wiccan Witches of england (for a 300 and sixty 5 days) earlier she converted to Christianity, and additionally a Satanist, lamented whilst she became a Christian, that when she became in the Church of devil, if all people got here late to their centers, they have been given the Hell overwhelmed out of them. as a result no one got here late, and it became a huge Deal in the event that they did. Christians serve the genuine God, she persevered, and yet they arrive to church any previous how, sloppily coming in late, disrespecting God and Jesus who died for us all. My answer to that's that maximum Christians immediately are the three-Minute prompt-Boiled-Noodle sort, who have been promised that they may be saved, and distanced from mountains of sins they committed in the previous, in the event that they simply take a minute out to declare "The Sinner's Prayer." they have not have been given any concept of the household projects and responsibilities a actual Christian has. A Muslim who screws up in his faith can get his hand or his head chopped off! A Christian who screws up would possibly no longer even get his wrist slapped, and may even get his decrease back slapped. relatively than pass on a marketing campaign to purpose to hold forth Christian Church reform, as I even have tried to do in the previous, relatively, I have an excellent time that God has enabled each and all the stupid and non-intense fake Christian potential betrayers to be accumulated in great prisons, the place we are able to work out who all of them are.

If I were satan (assuming he existed), I'd be a bible-thumping televangelist. That way I could manipulate all the gullible folks into hatred, willfull ignorance and warmongering.

oh, wait! someone's already done that.

funny that fundies see satan everywhere except within their own ranks.

Trust me, there are instances of Satan attempting to tempt Jesus based on Scripture! He knows the Word VERY well and has been trying to twist it to his advantage for years!

Satan is just one of the many made up fantasies that are contained in both of those man made books.

I think he has read the bible and understood very much more than anyone. He has memorized every detail, every translation.

His opinion would be that it is the true Word of God.
All he has to do is plant doubt in the minds of anyone who tries to interpret from it on their own. Spread it more.. and make different interpretations from it to produce more doubts.

Pretty simple for him.

You should be asking Jews if they think Satan has read the old testament as well. Leaving them out is really discriminatory.
