22 or 23 December 2012 is the end of the biggest cycle in the Mayan calendar, the 13-Baktumb a cycle of 5125.36 years

Mayan culture is very interesting, they were advanced astronomers, able to predict winter solstices, eclipses and much more.

what will happen in 2012? i would say it will be an event that will reflect on every human being.
Let's just wait 5 more years and see for ourselves.

Where did you get this date? I know the Mayans said the world will end in 2012, but Christianity doesn't really give an exact date, just a series of signs.

It's not the PERSON of Jesus that is coming back, it is the HOLY SPIRIT with which Jesus was filled.

2012 sounds good, don't know about the Dec 22nd part, though.

I think the Mayan's called it the end of a cycle. It doesn't refer to Jesus' coming.

Isn't Solstice one of John's days?
Winter solstice when light is furthest away.
Revelations seems the book written with the most lack of light.
