Satan, the fallen hero, and the Father of man's awakening, taught mankind to think for itself. He cared so much for mankind that he was cast into prison for trying to save it.

God, the murderer who killed the world in a flood and tortures those who seek happiness, is the Great Enemy.

Don't you love Satan for trying to save you? How do you repay him? By rejecting him and following the murderer who put him in prison?

Why did Satan create the Great Enemy? Does that mean that Satan is not omnipotent, since he couldn't forsee that God would turn evil and flood the world and stuff?

Bible Says that God is not Man

The Bible says:

Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man…”

Hosea 11:9 “...For I am God, and not man...”

Jesus is called a man many times in the Bible:

John 8:40 “…a man who has told you the truth…”

Acts 2:22 “Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.”

Acts 17:31 “He will judge the world in righteousness through a man whom He has appointed”

1. Tim. 2:5 “…the man Christ Jesus.”

God is not a man, but Jesus, may God praise him, was a man, therefore, Jesus was not God.

I guess some of you did but most are a product of upbringing, culture and peer pressure, right? For example a child brought up in a Muslim country by Muslim parents is usually not a Catholic at age 20.Oh and don't say you "know "you have the right religion, because all faiths claim that.

The now-famous Vatican Hill (Latin Collis Vaticanus) is northwest of the Tiber and is not one of the Seven Hills of Rome. Likewise, the Pincian Hill (Latin Mons Pincius), to the north, and the Janiculum Hill (Latin Ianiculum), to the west, are not counted among the traditional Seven Hills.

Of the Seven Hills of current Rome, five (Aventine, Caelian, Esquiline, Quirinal and Viminal hills) are populated with monuments, buildings, and parks. The Capitoline now hosts the Municipality of Rome, and the Palatine Hill is an archaeological area. Note that the Vatican hill is not one of the "seven hills" of Rome, as it is located on the opposite side of the river Tiber.

The city of Constantinople (now Istanbul) was built on seven hills, after the city of Rome.

read this first, then answer the question below:

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

did you lapse into Samuel L Jacksons voice in your head at some point along the way? I bet you did.

Is it actually possible to read this verse of the bible without lapsing into Samuel L. Jackson's voice in your head - even when you are trying to use a differnet voice?

Go back and read it again and try again. I dare you. I double dare you mother f*cker. (damn, did it again!)

This guy stole my girlfriend two years ago, i'm over it. But whenever i see his face somewhere, i can literaly feel my blood boil. Maybe i don't feel closure towards him because i cried like a "wuss" when i called him up to meet in person and talk about the situation. I am stronger now because of the experience of losing that girl and am focusing on finish college ( i guess that she was a distraction.) I have learned not to be SOOOOOOOO nice and trusting of a person anymore.I have outgrown what happened, but when i see his face on myspace and posters on campus (even though he already graduated), i feel so much anger and rage. I should'nt be angry at this guy because he is an uber-christian, and i am focusing my energy on worshipping the lord and trying to do his will. But i had also heard that this guy was a big liar and may have lied to her about being accepted to harvard and other bs. the past doesnt dictate the future, but will he end up getting his? I know i shouldnt bask in it

The christian child that is taught from his parents that Jesus is God. The Child that had no thought otherwise to be washed away, but simply to follow in the practice of his parents.

Or the highschool freshmen, that is at a confused point in life being force fed evolution as fact. This happens to Christians after they already have a belief system that the teachers try to wash away.

Then after that point the student makes up his own mind on which is right. The one that chooses his initial belief after the indoctrination is said to be brainwashed????? Something doesnt make sence to me.

Most all translations are good but not perfect.

One example fron the English Translation of the Quran----- "do not take the Jews and Christians as your friends (auliya)".

The arabic word AULIYA is used to mean protector or absolute confidential guardian of ones property and family if you died.

The translation "friend" doesnt translate well and in fact has created confusion.

There is no prohibition for taking the Christians and Jews for friends.

In Islam Muslim men can MARRY amongst the Christians and Jews so obviously marriage is stronger than friendship.

This verse pertains to taking a "fast friend" and a fellow person of ones faith to be appointed as an auliya or guardian over ones estate, family etc so that Islamic laws are carried out for the funeral and inheritance etc.

Always going back to the original Arabic meaning is very important for English readers of the Quran.

Also, studying the context of why each verse came down will answer a mulititude of questions concerning the verses of war and self defense.

He called himself a 'Radical Atheist' not because he believed that God did not exist, but because he was CONVINCED that he didn't. So, when people ask me what I 'believe' I tend to shun that word in favour of Adams'. He was also a good friend of Richard Dawkins - he read at Adams' secular funeral - and a deep thinker with regards to the godless universe.

His book the Salmon of Doubt (published posthumously) features many interesting articles on Atheism, including an interview with American Atheists, a fascinating lecture about the 'four ages of sand', and nuggets on evolution. I urge you to get a copy if you're interested in this field.

I see them as similar to the shaker religious sect that once inhabited southern Kentucky. The shakers did not believe in sex so after one generation they all died out. If these fanatics really are devout they should be running out of lunatics to run the religion. I am sure they will burn in hell.

Look at the universe. Look at how complex life is. Look at out of body experiences and miracles that happen everyday. Look at how incredibly complicated the eye is. Life is so improbable that it had to have come from a creator. No other explanation is satisfactory. The existence of a creator is self-evident.

Agree?

.....And where in the Bible does it mention the necessity of having a Pope ? I know that Catholics believe that St Peter was the first Pope and that all subsequent Popes are descended - Oooops, sorry - I meant elected by the vulnerable, old, sin-ridden Cardinals of the Vatican Council. Odd though, because St Peter wasn't a Catholic was he ? Hmmm.... sounds amazingly like Politics to me...!!

Tell me one thing that happened in your life that made you believe that there is something out there no one can explain. I want to hear your stories. Whether it be a tiny little thing or something that changed your life completely.

It doesn't have to be necessarily God or anything to do with religion, but please be respectful with your post and to other people's post. Everybody is allowed whether you are Christian, Catholic, Atheist, Islam etc. I want everybody who post to just be plain human beings and not divided by religion, race whatsoever.

May your stories bring inspiration, courage, strength and hope to those who need it.

does Jesus wish for his followers to be seen as ineffectual passive pathetic wimps?

Sometimes when I pray to God, he answers my prays! (Thank You Jesus)

Sometimes when I pray to God, he does not answer them. But that means that all I have to do is wait... Good things come to those that wait. (Thank You Jesus)

Sometimes when I pray God he says No. But that means that either it is not apart of the "Bigger Picture" or I`am being selfish.
(Thank you Jesus, you have my best interest at heart)

Man I wish they had a God casino. If prayers were like bets I would be a rich man by now. We can`t lose with prayer!

As you can see it`s a scam you are delusional. You would get the same results from praying to a milk carton.
