In our church we hear the bible according to John Piper -is he really God ?

I don't have any idea who John Piper is, but I know God on a personal basis, I speak with Him every day. I am sure that if John Piper was someone I needed to know, God would have told me.

Where is John Piper mentioned in the Bible? I must have overlooked that scripture.
