Ha! Religion! After being sent to catholic school, being subjected to sermons by crazed preachers (of varying religions) and doing my own research I have settled into a vague sort of paganism if forced to profess any faith. However after all my research and a science degree I am forced to the conclusion that there is, in fact, no supreme being/s. It's such a relief! Oh, but if there is and I do happen to be wrong, I figure that being a good person is a whole lot more important than reading a religious text each day, going to church or tithing a part of your salary.

May I reflect on some of your answers? The answer seems to be no, most have not looked at any other religion. One person even claims that Cathodism is a different religion to Christianity. Well news is Catholics are Christian therefore - no real examination of any other religion there.
This is all very interesting because I get Christians attacking me because I have not become a Christian. Yet I have at least looked at many other religions. I think there is a hint of hypocrisy there.
Islam is just the same.

ppl of all faith may claim their religion is true but the reality is only one religion is trur and that is islam. Im not saying because i was brought up in a islamic culture nor because i was brought up in a Muslim country by Muslim parents and no because of peer pressure. I dont think a fire which can be set out by water can be god, nor a human who can get hurt and even die can be a god, nor do i think a stone which is curved by human hands which can break which cannot hear nor see can be a god. I think it is better to worship the idol maker than the idol because the idol is his creation. In islam their is no place wrong it is the complete way of life not just a religion, it talks about food, clothing and everything from what to do to what not to do. no other religon has this. They are just religions. One more thing which convince me that islam is the one and only is the islams holy book Koran it is a divine revelation like the bible but it hasnt changed a single word in this around 1400 years but bible is changing daily. the koran hasnt changes a single word and also no human beign has been able to make a book like koran not even an aayath"verse" like that of quran this indicates islam it the truth and koran is divine. in bible their in no single line which say god preffered christianity to pepole but in islam their is, also something people dont look properly in the histry of the world their hasnt been a man called jesus christ. jesus in the latinized named of messiah and christ is the hebrew word easau Eesa is the name n\muslims call to prophet jesus. I think I have shown enoughevidence why islam is better than Christianity the only other false religion. I dont even think i should write abouth islam and hinduism or buddism because it is clear that a stone which cannot hear talk move see cannot be a god. other wise why dont those stones bring devastation to people I have even seen and heard of people who pee on those idols but i have both seen and heard many islamic miracles. when on christmas christians killed muslims in indonesia Allah brought the tsunami and devastated the whole palce. I have also seen when a house completely burned to ashes the koran in the house lay safe and soudh when the table it was laid was also burnt. Their are many othe miracles. names of allah Muhammed written in fruits fishes tree in the sky so I think without doing an indepth study you can know islam is the truth. Their is no God but Allah and Muhammed ih his messenger. Allah Akbar

Why do you not know what an atheist is‽ ATHEIST - someone who does not believe in a God – any God – not just the Christian one. But that does not mean they do not hold strong moral or religious beliefs! They can follow any religion that does not have a god and there are a lot of those! Like BUDDHISM – Religious teaching from Buddha and his followers that by destroying greed, hatred and delusion (the cause of all suffering) man can attain perfect enlightenment!

Yes, I did. I researched many, many different religions of the world. I realized a long time ago that there's no point in trying to reinvent the wheel, and decided to look for an already-existing religion that reflected what I already believed.
You're right about how all religions claim to be the "right" one. I'm not interested in finding something that's "right" for everybody else; I wanted to find the one that felt right for ME. I view religion as a personal tool, not a public cause.

In depth study isnt required. Although it is wise to know as much about all things as possible.
All you need to know to follow God and His Church is the faith to ask God and to follow His Counsel as revealed by the Spirit.

My mother was Catholic, my dad Baptist.
I was raised Catholic.
Now I am a Christian.
It's not about religion, it's about Jesus Christ.
