She was our earthly "intermediary" and without her there would be no incarnation into a physical form.

Mary is a way for women to have an intercessor to the male figure of Jesus.

Jesus honored his mother in life, why wouldnt he honor her in death and grant special prayers done through her intercession ?

Me, I'm treading water and making progress toward the shore. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and hope that it is not a train. How are you?

Ready made answers can be avoided my friends.

Some friends answer that in the Wes there is Class system .
But the question here is fully focussed upon the Indian society only .
I didn't want to get married in the Nehru family .It it better for ordinary people to avoid to get married in to financially Upperclass people . But what about the two men with equel income in India (when one belongs to the upper caste and the other belongs to the so-called lower caste).

this might sound like a ridiculous question, but how do i love the LOrd my God with all my heart, mind and soul? and then, another question is how do i trust him with all of my heart?

i was figuring that if i loved him with everything that naturally i would trust him, but maybe this is not true.

i want to trust him completely.

if anyone can help me, i'd appreciate it. thanks.

ok, god loves us all... Yet he lets us suffer... He wants us all to get into heaven, but he decides to mindlessley let us ponder around earth doing what ever we want. God want's us to be happy, but he restricts us from the things that make us happy. God exists, but he never even bothers to let you know he is there. God has everything, but he gives us so little. Why is that?

no understanding of how science works.

So far today I've been told that scientists created the diseases that we have to cure (Yes Just Me it was you) - mmmm Cancer, flu, bacterial infections, smallpox, measles, mumps, cholera - yeah right, scientists developed all these during the biological war of 2000BC. Most require treatment.

I've had someone ask (yes John D it was you *sigh*) where the energy for the universe came from, that there is no explanation for it - obviously Einstein's most simple equation was lost on him!

That God created medicine. This is a real doozy. Did God then create the theory of evolution too. I thought that the father of medicne is regarded to be hippocrates - hence the hipocratic oath. Now he was Greek and worshipped false Gods.

If you are American, have you ever travelled outside of the US? Have you gone to a country that you heard was so horrible only to discover that it was nothing like what the news and papers made it out to be? I've been to Pakistan multiple times. I'm American, born and raised. Half Irish and half German. And I'm going again October 7th. On my first trip there, I was scared out of my mind. But now, I am comfortable with going anywhere I want to there and knowing I'll be OK.

Why do people get these stereotypes? Have you been to someplace you'd only heard bad things about only to discover that those were either in tribal areas (where you never ever went and which were few and far between) or that it was uncommon? What was your experience?

if ignorance is bliss, which it is, in a sense, then ceasing to exist would be the ultimate ignorance of everything that has happened, is happening, or ever will happen. the ultimate bliss. everyone goes to "heaven". your thoughts? arguments?

A previous question had many answers stating that BLOOD was needed in sacrifices because the soul is in the blood.

Hearing so much about BLOOD and DEATH by Crucifixion gets really depressing after a while..........

Lets say a Pagan or an Atheist volunteers for a food drive, donates to respectable charity organizations, helps rebuild homes devastated by natural disasters, helps an elderly man or woman up if they just so happen to fall down?
What if the Pagan or Atheist tries to be the best person they can be their entire lives and helps out in the world TREMENDOUSLY.
Are you telling me that they will burn in hell after they die because they didn't accept Jesus as their savior because they felt that it wasn't neccessary?
Are you telling me that after all the GOOD that they did, they will be rewarded with fire and brimstone?
I mean COME ON!!! What IS that? Do you REALLY think that the divine will care what religion you practiced? Wouldn't it make more SENSE that the divine would judge you on your good deeds and services toward the Earth and all its inhabitants?
Look - I believe in Jesus the man.
I am Pagan, and I do follow SOME of the teachings...but THAT is something that will NEVER make sense.

the word trinity in never mentioned in the Bible because there is no trinity. Jesus is God. Oneness is the answer in the Bible. Jesus name baptism is the only way the bible tells to be baptised. It says in the name of the father, son and the holy ghost in Mathew. Jesus is that name. notice the word name is singular, not plural. In acts that's exactly what the apostles did. they baptised in the name of Jesus. Don't believe me. read it for yourself after you knock the dust off of your bible.
