this might sound like a ridiculous question, but how do i love the LOrd my God with all my heart, mind and soul? and then, another question is how do i trust him with all of my heart?
i was figuring that if i loved him with everything that naturally i would trust him, but maybe this is not true.
i want to trust him completely.
if anyone can help me, i'd appreciate it. thanks.

To love God with all my heart, mind and soul is the old commandment. Under the new commandment we love others as Jesus has loved us:
John 13:34,35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
Under the New Covenant:
We love as He has loved us (John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.).
We love abiding in God’s love (John 15:9,10 As the Father have loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.)
We love because God first loved us (1 John 4:19 We love because He first loved us. )
We love with the love of God that is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been pour out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.).
We love because we are grounded and rooted in God's love knowing the length and breath and height and depth of His love (Ephesians 3:17-19 that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height – to know the love of Christ which passes all knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.).
We love knowing that God has loved us as He has loved His Son, Jesus (John 17:23 I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that you have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me. )..

To love God with all your heart, mind, and soul, is to pray much, day and night, thanking Him and Praising Him(God). To live a clean healthy, moral, law abiding, honest life style. Do all, and everything you can for the poor and needy. To share all you have, money, home, car, food, clothes, with someone in need. Telling people about Jesus Christ and the love of God. Doing this, you will be complete, you will feel God, and God will speak to you, and meet your needs abundantly.
