The word "Bible" is never mentioned in the Bible either; do you deny the existence of the Bible on that basis as well? Come now, be intellectually honest and consistent!
I've always believed you can't go wrong QUOTING JESUS! So when I baptize, I QUOTE HIM: "In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Now, regarding baptismal formula; in the Scripture every time we read of someone being baptized in Unitarian formula, it was a Jewish convert. HOWEVER(!!!), when Paul ran into Gentile converts in Acts 19, he says to them: "Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?"
The men answered they had never even "HEARD" of the Holy Ghost. Paul is astonished, to say the least, and immediately AND MOST TELLINGLY asks them: "How on earth were you baptized then?" Clearly Paul understands that if these Gentiles had received CHRISTIAN Baptism, they would have at least "HEARD" of the Holy Ghost! This proves that the Trinitarian Formula for baptism, AS JESUS HIMSELF COMMANDED, was in use in Apostolic times.

Yes, I do believe that Jesus is the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 (KJV) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 4:12 (KJV) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 10:47 (KJV) Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? Acts 10:48 (KJV) And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. Acts 19:1 (KJV) And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, Acts 19:2 (KJV) He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. Acts 19:3 (KJV) And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Acts 19:4 (KJV) Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. Acts 19:5 (KJV) When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. The only practical reason why some insist on a formula that repeats the words of Matthew 28:19 (rather than actually using the name it describes) is their attempt to confess the doctrine of the trinity. We should note, for their benefit, that many trinitarians see the correctness of baptism in the name of Jesus. For example, the first leader of the twentieth-century Pentecostal movement, Charles Parham, baptized in the name of Jesus although he never explicitly denied trinitarianism. There is no reason to use a trinitarian baptismal formula to uphold the erroneous doctrine of the trinity. The Bible always emphasizes that God is one, not three. Furthermore, Jesus is the Father (Isaiah 9:6), the Son (Matthew 1:21), and the Holy Ghost (II Corinthians 3:17-18). All the fulness of the Godhead dwells in Christ bodily (Colossians 2:9). Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are simply three different manifestations of the one God who came in flesh as Jesus. There is no reason, then, to insist on a trinitarian baptismal formula when the Bible does not teach the modern doctrine of trinitarianism. Source(s):

The word Trinity does not have to be mentioned but then you people have to have all the i`s dotted and the T`s crossed for you, there is ample evidence for the dogma of the Triune God so let`s not split hairs over a particular word.

Hi.Which Bible are you reading ? The Jewish Bible. The Catholic Bible. The Protestant Bible or one of the over 50 different versions of the Bible in English alone. See you have to be specific if you don't want your credibility to be challenged
EDIT......Can you find the word "computer 'in the Bible ?
EDIT...The thing that i find that is incomprehensible is that none of you can even agree who God is,and you call yourselves Christians. Can you see what i am getting at ? It is absolutely mind-boggling!

I agree 101% to your statement of being one God. But I disagree that jesus is that one God. Like us, God is also a soul. Unlike us, He is referred to as the Supreme Soul – the only soul who never takes a body (gross or subtle, human or angelic) of His own. He is beyond the effects of actions and is never subject to the dualities of birth and death, pleasure and pain, success and failure. Being beyond the limits of time of this physical world, He retains absolute knowledge of the universe and all its dimensions. God lives, not everywhere but somewhere. A thought of God almost always takes the eyes upwards, as though one is perhaps expecting a face to miraculously appear from behind the clouds or to beam down from the moon. Thoughts are powerful. They link one soul to another. If they are properly channelled, thoughts can even go where only the soul can travel – beyond the moon and stars to a dimension of golden red light, the original home of all souls. Immersed in the experience of the warmth of this light, the soul feels as though it is truly at home at last, and with God.
From the above, I hope you understand that the God is not having a body or form. He is only a point of energy (light). Jesus took birth on earth. That means he has to take re-birth also by taking the account of his actions from the previous life. How a bodily being can be God. So believe that God is the Supreme Father of all souls. He is the ocean of knowledge, ocean of peace, ocean of love. A human being cannot be called as ocean of virtues because power and quality of human beings have limitations.

Well I don't know about that, but for what I learned is that in order to be saved and go to heaven you must turn and believe in Jesus... And you must get baptised(if you want to and have faith) in order to have salvation in Christ......
