I was in a beautiful park within a grove of cypress trees sitting on soft grass with kind hearted similar minded folks. It was lovely and had a peaceful energy to it.

It seems such a glaring denial of reality. What comes 'after life' is death - the end of life, the end of you. Everyone knows that, if they're honest with themselves, do they not?

As in the TV series "Get Smart", the diabolic elements of 'Chaos" were attempting to overthrow Control.

So are 'some designers' using 'sick models' to develop an unhealthy image of women, promoting a sick lifestyle that has resulted in many deaths ?

Who are what motivates these 'some' designers ?

Uh, if religion is suppose to be salvation and all that non sense, why is so much violence caused by it? If there is one TRUE religion...why is there so many? I could think up of some retarted religion today. So why are so many people dedicating their lives to UNPROVEN stories? And more importantly why are people killing each other because its what their god wants? Just wondering.

just curious, how do you feel about believing in god outside of religion? i have my own thoughts on what god is. i dont believe he has much of anything to do with our lives. i dont think humans are special in the eyes of god cause i dont think he would even care if he even has a conscious mind to know we exist. so is it possible in your minds to have a force that drives existence outside of existence? and could that force be called god?

It's true that war is a horrible thing, and no one knows that more than the soldiers that take part in it. However, there are times when war is a necessary fact and killing on the battle field can not be avoided. Are there people who think that war should be averted at all costs? Even at the cost of innocence, freedom, and life? Should one not kill a person who is murdering hundreds of others?

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." John Stuart Mill, English economist & philosopher (1806 - 1873)

P.S. This is not a question that has ANYTHING to do with Iraq, but a question regarding the concept of war.

When did the Bible become the guideline for Christianity? How do we know that the Bible isn't just a scam, and that it hasn't been manipulated by man?

I do believe in God, but I'm just not so sure about the Bible. Was it really God, or just man trying to get people to behave? And aren't the guidelines in the Bible just common sense?

Will the teapot just get smaller, enlarge it's orbit, or will it eventually just run out of gaps to hide in?

Just in case people that are clueless to the teapot would like to be informed before they say something stupid: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell's_teapot But I do enjoy listening to people rant about things they do not understand.

Follow along for a moment and take in this fairy tale in which the reader asks, "so, what would you do?" as to draw out some imaginary and vicarious emotional and cognitive responses to a specific scenario.

It is the end of the world and God asks you, "I have tried many times and in different ways to convince you of my existence, yet you remained in disbelief." How would you explain yourself? I would like to know how you'd emotionally respond. Give me a short dialogue if you will..
