Everyone has an individual take on what they believe, with the exception of those who are completely trained by rote, such as members of cults who will all give you the same answer as they've been instructed to do.
But every free thinker has a bit of his or her own take.
I am an Evangelical Christian who believes much of the Bible is allegorical and metaphorical, not to be taken literally. This makes me different from many Evangelicals who take the
Bible literally.
This is what allows me to believe in God's Creation of the world and in evolution at the same time. Many Evangelicals are devout creationists and think evolution is a false teaching.

Yes. Religions are helpful ways of organizing people with similar beliefs, but just because you can't find a group of likeminded people doesn't mean you can't have a deep spiritual understanding of the world.

Yes, I am probably one of them. I believe what I believe, not what I am "supposed" to believe. Religion starts this way...then it spreads and spreads..
