It seems such a glaring denial of reality. What comes 'after life' is death - the end of life, the end of you. Everyone knows that, if they're honest with themselves, do they not?

My friend, what do you mean by the term "afterlife"?

If you mean does this life, real life stop and then another new life is then put in place, no I do not believe in that taking place after what most see as a termination to this life or the visit to the funeral home. However if you mean a new life or after life being an option in this so called life by means of a rebirth, born again, or born from above sequence, then yes I do believe in that.

The main reason your question is very hard to answer is many do have different views of what life really is. My view is that in this sequence all mankind are really dead just waiting for the death to be manifested at the appropriate scheduled time established by my God. One may be granted the real life by a choice in an option to accept the truth as it is clearly presented or he may remain as he is until the time for the death to be manifested arrives by not accepting the pure truth.

Most see as they are now as life thus I must say that this status will never end in my belief without a choice in the available option. One will just continue as is basically in the same position as separated from the real truth and thus there is no end to life as most do define life. If there is no end then how can there be an after life?

Do have a good day and do consider what you really see as life my friend.

Yes. Approximately 2 billion Christians, for the most part Catholic; about 1 billion Muslims, both Sunni and Shiite, and at least 2 billion Hindus and Buddhists. In other words, most of humanity. I am suprised it has somehow escaped your attention that belief in an afterlife is both ancient and essentially a near-universality,and I can only assume you are highly isolated from your social environment. All religions incorporate a belief in some type of afterlife and a mere glance at any newspaper should suffice to alert you as to the prevalence of religion in our world.

How authentic what you say. it is why there is in worry-free words existence. Jesus reported 'i'm the existence' and there are 2 words interior the Greek for existence. One is only 'bios' it is the interest we advance biology, wide-spread residing, paying expenditures, seeing acquaintances, having a lager, making food, paying taxes, fixing the vehicle...blah. perchance this is tremendous to you, and that i absolutely wish this is for you. yet for me, no, i will appreciate existence it is that different word interior the Greek observed as 'Zoe' and this is extra of a non secular word. A Christian actual might want to be (and it is procedure, ok?) useless to this realm. This realm then is passing way, and they now are in the different one. certain, to you in all probability does sound loopy, extraordinary, non-sensical, because, for sure, you're top, it isn't interior the realm of the senses.

Yes I do. I am completely honest with myself in saying that life on earth is only the beginning. Everyone has an eternal spirit. Where you go depends on who you choose to follow. Just because you dont believe in an afterlife doesnt mean you wont experience it.

I believe in ETERNAL LIFE. In that, when I die, my soul will go to heaven. (to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord) When the rapture comes, my earthly body will be raised from the grave, and will be changed in the twinkling of an eye, and I will meet my Lord in the air, and He will take me home. If I am still alive when the rapture happens, then, I will never taste death because my body will change in the twinkling of an eye, and I will meet my Lord in the air, and He will take me home. Either way, I win! "Oh death where is thy victory, oh grave where is thy sting?"

I don't. When it's over, it's over. The people that believe that are making themselves feel good. If there were an afterlife, why does the Catholic church charge you so you don't go to H*ll or end up no where. Personally, I came back as a rat-Rat Fink.

The scary thing is that I think some people really can't see this. Of course, no one wants to accept death. It would be great to think that we get to live on forever and see our loved ones again. That's no reason to delude yourself into believing something that just can't be.

By the way, the only afterlife I believe in is the one that's free of MySpace typos. *wink* ((((icarus))))

Yes, I do. Why can't you accept that not everyone believes the same thing as you do? Surely you can be an open-minded person and allow others to have a different opinion than you do.

yeah dude i know what you mean.

the people that do are the people who have been basically "sold" on the idea of an afterlife. they WANT to beleive for some specific reason (varies depending on the individual).
