Yes and no. Last words of the Old Testament

Malachi 4:5-6
"See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse."

Here, let me get out my old Bible and look. *Thumbs through Bible given by Methodist mother* . . . Well, I'll be darned. It does! The last two words are "a curse!" The whole thing is not a curse, though:

Malachi 4:4-6 -- (4) Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. (5) Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: (6) And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."

So it's a promise with a threat in the "lest" clause, but it's not in itself a curse.

The Tanakh currently ends with 2 Chronicles, however an earlier book order had Ezra-Nehemiah as the last book... only the Christian book order has Malachi as the last book.

Moses gave the people a blessing and a curse at the same time. There was a blessing upon those who followed the laws he brought, and a curse upon those who didn't.
However, it must be remembered that Jesus Christ freed men from the curse of the law. Jesus Christ brought a New Covenant, the Covenant of His blood, shed upon the cross for the forgiveness of sins of those who believe on him.

That is why the Quran was sent with the Final law............. too many people had changed the Mosaic laws by splitting hairs and arguing over small hypothetical situations.
