Prove to me that God exists WITHOUT the use of the Bible. The answer I deem most logical gets 10 points. Good Luck.

I'm being very serious on this:
We are over populating this plant, so wouldn’t it be in the best interest for future generations to cull some of the current generation, set a mandatory age limit 80 or something like that. Or create mandatory birth control or sterilize certain people upon birth to insure we don’t continue to over populate and deplete our resources.

It might not be moral, but lets put morals aside and think realistic, we are are over populating.

I’m very serious and ask you to think about this too, what’s you opinion, look at the Asian countries, they already have child limit laws, should they be world wide.

They were against it until today. Why did they change? Is it because a law is about to go into effect that requires it? Are the Catholic bishops just caving in? What about their beliefs, don't they mean anything? Do Catholic beliefs change to whatever is convenient at the time?

Here's the story:

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, after being given divine warning of things not yet beheld, showed godly fear and constructed an ark for the saving of his household; and through this [faith] he condemned the world, and he became an heir of the righteousness that is according to faith.

We are all descendants of Noah.

(1) If a man has lived a holy, temple-worthy life and done good deeds, can he have a multiplicity of wives in the Celestial Kingdom?

(2) Can an unmarried woman make it to the Celestial Kingdom?

If the answer to either or both questions is yes, can you provide sources. Thanks.

What is your opinion on the people who just answer questions saying "You are going to burn!"

I mean, doesn't that just give Christianity a BAD REPUTATION... Just like that preacher who was praying to bring oil prices down... Seriously.

Why do some Christians just say "you will burn in hell"? It simply infuriates others... Saying that they are damned to eternal suffering doesn't really make a positive impact.

Just think about this: does the threat of eternal pain convince people on YA to convert?

?

9-11 sparked interest and some fear, but soon America was trying to excuse what had happened rather than repent. Katrina and Rita took thier toll, and God left the streets used for Marti Gras in well enough form for us to have space to repent. and we defiantly declair that the abominable parade of flesh will continue. Now that we have not repented, but are threatening to take "In God We Trust" out of our treasury, what depression are we welcoming in? Now that we want to take "One Nation Under God" out of the pledge of allegience, what captivity are we trying to bring on? Now that we have taken the 10 commandments down from our courthouses, what higher lawlessness shall we welcome? Does no one care that America is heading headlong into Hell and God is begging for us to repent before he has to realy hurt us? God loves America and wants to bless America... but what has she become? Who will pray for America, who will rally and campaign for God and the Bible in America?

In corresponding with a Christian today - I said that accepting and not judging other religions was our first step - as individuals - toward peace. He e-mailed me back saying - "the Bible says that antichrist comes under a banner of "peace" among all, and then goes on a reign of terror worse than the world has ever seen. So I don't trust everyone with a 'peace' message."

I think this is a judgmental, fearful way to live your life. So - I'm wondering. Do other Christians agree with him?

We hear all the time that ever since "God was taken out of schools" (as some people view it) our world has gotten much worse. Daughter raised a good point in a previous question that perhaps people should stop blaming "God being taken out of everything" and actually take responsibility themselves for the way their kids turn out. Is it, in fact, a lessened emphasis on God in schools that's to blame or just not so great parenting? Would it be a problem that kids are not being exposed to God in schools if their parents actually did their job at home?

Personally, I think that "God has been taken out of everything" bit and the idea that we need God to learn morals is bollocks to begin with, but try to answer the question from the perspective from which it is written.

On another note, has our world really gotten worse?

from my previous sociology & psychology studies, i have heard of churches (mormons particularly) who teach that you can convert a gay person into a straight person. i know that electroshock therapy and intense prayer has been used in the past to "cure" homosexuality. do you think it is possible to convert gays with the power of prayer? if so, is it necessary to do these conversions?

check out my online survey on marriage & relationships at http://geocities.com/sbiv37/ i'd love your input.

are there others like me out there who believes what I do ... has a religion ... my own ideas of God and the afterlife etc ...
but is open to saying
you know what , this is what I believe but I do not think everyone else is wrong
your God is every bit as valid as mine
your beliefs in the afterlife are as true as mine
heck we might all be right

I cannot say mine is right and there is no other way but my way
not with so many different beliefs out there.... I find that to be quite a silly assumption
I cannot , would not deny what I believe .... and it is THE truth ( for me )
and I appreciate that everyone will feel the same about theirs
but I respect that
do you respect me ?
do you feel the same ?
do you understand that as much as you feel your truth should be the truth for everyone ... that there are other truths out there

We don't hate you. We just tell you the truth and share God's word with you. We are only trying to tell you that what you are into is evil and from satan. That you need Jesus in your life. For Jesus is the only way too heaven. Without Jesus there is only hell. It sounds harsh but its true and a fact. Christians love the person but hate sin and wicked evil stuff. I pray for the lost souls that they will accept Jesus before it's to late for them. Jesus loves you!

2 Tim 4:3 For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories.

Proverbs 2:22 As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.

I just saw it in a question, "whatever it is for them that they can believe in". God is taken out of the pledge, God has been taken out of the schools, look at what's happening, God help us. From what I understand, their going to be taking In God We Trust off money. That could be the only message some people get. God help us.

The Archbishop of Mozambique appears to have made up a story that western nations have deliberately infected condoms with HIV in order to complete the genocide of Black people (BBC On-line) This seems like a really dumb and wicked lie.
