'cause the Bible says it's so - let's all sing together, now

I choose to believe that my religious beliefs are the truth, but I can accept that fact that not everyone is going to believe in the same things I do. What seems right to me will not seem right to someone else.

When you know God well and live by God laws you will get to the ultimate truth.

How do you 'know' when you are in love with someone? Christianity for me is a stirring in my soul, much the same way I know when I am in love with someone - you just 'know'. I was not a Christian and never grew up in a household that believed in any religion, in fact, quite the opposite. I grew up hating Christians and God, but that changed one day, and now I just know God, and his truth.

You can prove God's Word in 3 ways::

1. Do the word in doctrine and witness truth in your life-

John 7:16-17:
"...'My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If any man is willing to do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from Myself.' "

2. The Holy Spirit will bear witness of Christ (Jesus is the Word of God - John chapter 1)-

John 15:26:
" 'When the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness of Me.' "

3. Confirming signs-

Mark 16:20:
"And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the Word by the signs that followed."

Do you actually expect to get answers that don't boil down to faith and wishful thinking?

i wouldn't consider myself a "believer" of anything in particular,
but i think the whole point is that you believe,
even when there is no proof.

hence,
faith.

I don't. That's why I'm called a "believer" instead of a "knower."
