Rapture yes, pretrib no. Read Philip Mauro's The 70 Weeks and the Great Tribulation which makes a great case that the tribulation was in AD 70. It was new to me too a few years ago but it makes better sense to me now.

The word may not be but the idea is. What do the following verses mean to you if not the rapture?
1Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 The 4:14-17
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose, so also those who have fallen asleep through Jesus, God will bring with Him. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are living, who are left remaining unto the coming of the Lord, shall by no means precede those who have fallen asleep; 16 Because the Lord Himself, with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are living, who are left remaining, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will be always with the Lord.

You are correct.
I Thess 4:17 provides the clue when it says that they will 'ALWAYS' be with the lord.
I Cor. 15:50 says that flesh and blood cannot inherit God's Kingdom.
a person must first die before going to heaven.
The trinity is also not a bible teaching.

Your right. The word "Rapture" is not found in scripture, but the phrase "caught up" is. Rapture literally means, "to be caught away" or "caught up".
You can find the phrase "caught up" in 1 Thessalonians.

You're taking it in context. You have to mix and match until you get the answer you want.

Your point is pointless. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

and your point being? rather you believe in it or not makes no difference. you believe one way, i believe another. does it make you better then the next? no. does it make me better then the next? no. perfect example of not arguing over doctrine.
