It has been many years since I read it. I don't recall that Darwin actually espoused racism, himself, however his book can certainly be used to infer that the 'superior' races must wipe out the 'inferior' races. And it was certainly USED by racists in just that way!
Coupled with the philosophies of Spencer, Hegel, and Neitzche, it became the perfect tool for the Third Reich's extermination program.

If he was the most blatant racist ever,it bears no relevance at all to the validity of TOE.The study of evolution began with him,it has advanced since then with massive evidence from several different scientific fields.TOE neither stands nor falls on the fact of Darwin's racism/non-racism.TOE has been smashingly proven since then.

No, I don't view that as promoting racism. Obviously, all the races in the world today were "favored" or they would not exist.

That depends on how Darwin defined "race". Was he only using it in reference to humans? Actually, the point is irrelevant; natural selection stands as a valid evolutionary concept., whether Darwin was a racist or not .
Come to think of it, would Darwin have suggested evolution from apes if he was racist?

He probably did see a lean in power towards one race, but we cannot determine whether he was a racist. This other title probably expanded to the broad view of powers distributed among different races in a general sense

Yes. He was trying to prove that other races were less human because they were lower on the evolutionary scale.
Evolution and planned parenthood both have their roots in the most heinous ideologies.
