When God killed the Earth because it was too violent, why didn't he order Noah to take all the babies from around the world? Surley this wouldn't have been a problem for a guy who took two of every animal.

Or were the babies violent as well? Is that why God killed them?

Most scholars today do not believe that the flood story of the Bible is historically factual. Most believe that Moses wrote the Book of Genesis (where the story is written), but that the flood story is a re-telling of an ancient myth. The earlier Mesopotamian societies also told of a global flood which cleansed the Earth of evil people. The thought is that these earlier stories were passed down to the people of Moses' day and included in his writings.

Now, having said that...I am a Christian and have a terrible time marrying the faith I have in reading my Old Testament and what I learn from modern day science. What do I do? I don't worry too much about it. I try to keep in mind that while God is omnipotent and our Creator, he did NOT write the bible.....men did. And men are not perfect.

I hope I've helped.

The intent was to DESTROY the earth, and save one of each sex of every animal (thus two of each animal, one male, one female). The world was to be re-populated by the two of each and Noah's (large) family. The rest of the world was too evil.

Noah asked of the lord to spare the earth if he could find even one riotous person... and was unable to do so. One can only assume this was true of even the babies.

God was so distraught over the destruction of all living things that he pledged to never again do such a thing. That is what the rainbow stands for. However, later in time Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by fire and brimstone due to the sins of all the inhabitants there.

God has the ability to restore those infants.
But with no cleansing action, those infants would grow up just like their violent parents.
And those infants could have ALL been NEPHILIM.
DISOBEDIENT ANGELS HAD COME DOWN TO EARTH AND HAD RELATIONS WITH HUMAN WOMEN.
these women gave birth to the NEPHILIM. Would those greedy angels have left any women for the 'use' of ordinary men?
They certainly would not have respected any who were married to ordinary men. Think about it. Godmade sure all the Nephilim were destroyed. Their fathers gave up their fleshly bodies and fled back to heaven. They were eventually rejected from heaven along with their leader, Satan. Rev. 12;12

The world had to restart from the beginning. Unfortunately babies as well. Noah and his family couldn't look after all those babies even together.

Oh for goodness sake! Get a life! Where was the earth buried when god killed it? Violent babies??? Sounds like a rock band. Do you know any babies that are violent. To quote Michelangelo (?) "People are born without clothes, the priests and clergymen introduce sin and shame.

God is merciful, He intends those babies not to grow anymore and commit the mistakes of their parents. All of them were having fellowship with God right now.

Would you like to join them? It's easy, free and all paid for...

So now we know there is two reasons inccot babies killed, and the flood would have put too much water in the atmosphere drowning us

Its either : the ark was a space ship of some sort, and he had test tubes of DNA of all the species.... (in this case "god" is an alien)
Or a metaphor/ a stupid story of poor moral value.

The story is a myth. There has never been any solid proof that it ever occured. You would also think that considering god knows everything before it happens that he would have Sent Jesus to die then instead of drowning every single person except noah and his family.
