Do you think this goes against what you believe in or the Bible? If you have tried it before does it work Or is it a gimmick?

Just take a look around their website. I'm thinking of reading their book. I could check it out from the library but is it worth my time? I'm not sure what to make of it. But it is interesting.

Basically I think it seems to be saying that our subconscious makes notes, and that these memories of traumatic events can hold us back in life and keep us from being happy. I think it is supposed to help us realize or even develop our full potential or better than what and where we were at prior to this material.

This Is why we as Christians are given the word of God.Read the Bible and start saying what God says about you. This and this alone will bring change Into your heart & life. The Holy Spirit Is to lead & guide us Into ALL truth & knowledge. I would In no way allow someone's phsychological views change anything to for or about me or my thinking process. God warns us In His word. Put your trust In no man,as man Is weak & frail.
This Is why we have the Holy Spirit.
Be carefull what you put before your eyes, and what you allow your ears to hear. If It doesn't line up with God's word, stay away from It. Since we're only human we can be easily deceived,If you rely on human standards. Trust In the Lord. He'll never leave you,Nor forsake you,Never.

Yes, it goes against my 'religion'.

I have read much of the Dianetics book. I found it terrible in that it immediately begins to tell you things that one much accept in order to do what he calls, "Be clear".

And those who become 'clear' may reach immortality. L. Ron Hubbard, last time I checked, is still dead. So he couldn't even do it.

So who is your example of 'clearness'? Who achieved the goal. In all history, who has become clear? Who is immortal?

Jesus is the only one who has the power to grant immortality to mortals. My case is made stronger because He rose from the dead, and has been given power and authority, all power and authority over Heaven and Earth.

That's my founder, the one who did what He said He would do.

Some people consider dianetics a cult. Others say it's the best thing that ever happened to them. I don't go for it as it is too self centered rather than God centered.

going off of memory here, not looking up the references, I'm thinking this is ron hubbards work, it is totallly anti-christ, anti-God and anti-healthy.

I looked at this years ago, and it is so full of garbage I just never finished looking at it. I'm not a dung hill so I don't fill my mind with that kind of stuff.....

contrary to what some might think and the evidence to support their claims..

Dianetics is Scientology. Which is not Christian at all.

Read up on Xenu and Scientology and then see what you think.

I would want what God said, not what some man says .

Be very careful what you read because it can get in your mind and change your thinking to something not valid or helpful.

Look at this website http://www.xenu.net/index.html for another viewpoint on the subject. You might be surprised by what you find.
