How many of you noticed this? Now that the theists can't convert us with myths of hell fire, they deny our existence.
I've read several Christian responces that say Atheists don't exist, they're just denying their beliefs. How funny is that?

I just cannot fully give myself over. I am trying to believe but it is very hard for me. I half believe, maybe more. I think that I just want to believe so that there is a higher purpose to everything. I want to trust like others do and that seem so sure there is a God looking over us. How can I feel his presence?

I want to believe in a God, but I cannot see how a God who is supposed to be perfect and loving would let terrible things happen to little children. Think of how many of them die horrible deaths each year around the world.

If you were God, would you let this happen? Would you sit there and watch?

I am not trying to be rude in any way. I just see this as a contradiction. It bothers me because my brother was murdered and I was told indirectly by one Christian that it was his time to go. That really offended me.

What are your thoughts?

Thank you for your answers.

Why Do People Cry at Church?
So, today at Church, we had an amazing Youth service, and it really touched me, because I am a Saved Christian. But, at the end, everyone went up, to pray, and some people were crying. I am more of a quiet person at Church, and I felt bad that I wasn't crying, and I don't really understand why some people were. Do you cry at Church? And, is it bad that I didn't cry? I'm sorry to sound weird, but I'm confused. Thanks and God Bless!♥

Why did God create us? The answer that the bible seems to provide is: for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11) (Colossians 1:16).

According to Matthew's Gospel, the very essence of the Law and the Prophets is to love God and to love others (Matthew 7:12)

So many of us use the freedom of choice that He knew, being the omnipotent being He is (Matthew 19:26), would lead us to choose a path that excluded Him. He knows and says that many of us will go to Hell and few will make it to Heaven (Matt.7:13-14) . How can I love someone that says He Loves me, but has chosen not to allow me to live forever with Him in Heaven, but has created an environment where I can possibly go to hell?

If this ‘Love’ is the sentiment He wants me to reciprocate, It certainly will not be with the fondness or ‘Love’ I have felt for my fellow human beings, but with anger and resentment that he has made me and placed me here to struggle and suffer through life for His pleasure.

There was a time when teen pregnacy was shocking, when marriage was sacred, when integrity wasn't square. Can we as a people turn the tide?

For example: When I was in a relationship I had terrible feelings of lies and un-returned love. In the end my feelings turned out to be right about the way I was feeling. I can also feel what people are thinking of me and when I found out how they felt i was 99% right. As of recenetly, I have been having feelings of a big event(s) coming.

the 144,000.

How do you know that there were any vacancies, if any, in the 144,000 class if Jesus offered this to first century Christians? How can the organization know the exact number of vacancies today without any records from the first century?

The saying, "God created Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve," is a way of trying to justifying the fact that most Christians are homophobics.

Do you agree or not?

I have been doing some research about the statue of St Joseph and burying him in your yard to help your house sell. However, the prayers that I have read that go along with it seem almost threatning to St Joseph. Does anyone know a different prayer?

Next to my branch there is a Baptist church, I always saw this building but never really looked at it, never read the front letters or whatever, doesn't really look like a church building but it is!.... I just get out of the car and immediatly go to church. Both churches are separated by a parking lot (not too big) that is shared I believe since it has no divission or anything so it's pretty fair to know that they share it.
I know that Baptist DO NOT agree with mormons and that maybe their opinion about us is not really possitive sometimes. But when I noticed the Baptist church so close to mine and sharing parking lot this morning I found it totally cute.
Don't you think it is? ^_^

12 yrs ago I suffered a heart attack while driving to work. After a short term blackout, the car went over a 27ft drop. I did manage to get back up to the road, but with a dislocated shoulder, two neck fractures, 4 thoracic fractures, and impact paralysis from the waist down. The pastor of the church I was working on and several of the members passed by. The pastor and a few others slowed down and looked before going on their way. Two of them very carefully looked at the opposite bank. After an hour and 45 min. a half drunk garbage truck driver stopped and called an ambulance. When I got back on the job, the pastor showed up first thing in the morning, jumped back in his car and left! The site superintendant said that he and the others were there every day, as they had been before, untill the morning I got back. Only 1 came by after that, but it was a gentleman who had been out of town the day of the accident. Is this how religious people are suppose to "take care of each other"?

This sounds like a psycho ex-girlfriend of mine.
Jesus tells us to love and forgive even our enemies but is going to burn us in hell forever if you are simply unsure if he was really the son of God? Kinda psycho dont ya think?
Hypocritical? Jesus not really practicing what he preached?
