Let's get it straight.
Anyone who willfully rebels against the Creator, intending evil against His beloved creatures,
and then scoffs at the offer of reconciliation, which was purchased at the cost of the shed blood of God's Beloved Son,
is going to hell.
And none too soon.

No, Jesus is going to save you from hell if you follow his instructions. Hell isn't a punishment, it is a consequence. God told Adam and Eve that if they ate the apple, they would die...he wasn't lying...death entered the world when they chose to go their own way. As descendents of Adam and Eve we are all destined to die...our existence on this earth is finite.
If some part of us doesn't continue to exist after the death of our bodies, then hell (and heaven) are irrelevant...they don't exist. If they do, then the concept is simple...hell is where all souls go when they die. God offered us an alternative...that through Jesus, we could be transformed into a being that could exist once again in his presence (in heaven).
The concept of "burning in hell" is an oxymoron...without our senses...without nerves and a brain to interpret what we are experiencing, how could we possibly feel "burning", or pain or torture or any other earthly concepts. Hell is simple...it is an eternal existence separate from the love and light of God. A much better picture of hell would be as a void...no light, no sounds, no touch, no smell...eternal nothingness...living as a disembodied spirit with no method for perceiving anything about our existence...I don't know about you but if I was aware of the nothingness, that would be the worst torture I could imagine (eternal fear of the dark).
God offered us a chance to avoid that existence...that if we will seek, through faith, to follow Jesus, we will discover (or perhaps learn is a better word) something that will allow us to perceive his kingdom after the death of our body. Perhaps it is a type of transplant operation...to have any chance at a worthwhile existence after we die, our soul will need a body transplant. Perhaps faith combined with following God's instructions acts as an immuno-suppresant drug to prepare our soul so that it won't reject the body he wants to give us so we can function in the next life...

Jesus never claimed to be the "only" son of "God'; nor did he claim to have any intentions of tossing anyone into a lake of fire.
The teachings of Jesus was Symbolic, not literal.
Each scene within the bible held a lesson and symbolism within it.
In reality Jesus is the son of God, as is Buddah and Mohammad and even you; interpretations alone separate them. Read any bible Carefully and Symbolically the idea of what was intended will come out.
Hades, sheoul, hell all were symbolic ideas and not a valid state or realm of existence.
Consider "Hell" as separation from God by ignorance or choice. Yet, this state is also temporary.
The ignorant whom elect to follow blind ideas will tell you hell is a pit of fire; the symbolism was that "hell" was a place for those whom lose sight of Spirituality in themselves; the Devil was symbolicaly mans ego, the "self" and the "self deceptor" that lies from the ego's point of view telling man they are all powerful and self serving beofre serving others needs.
This is 666/the beast within; yet, Religions teach it as Literal.

The church and there in many followers of Christianity have a concept of God and Jesus in which they believe, and in which they share with others outside the religion. However, if you actually read the Bible, you'll see God and Jesus as they really are. In the same context, many non-Christians formulate their own idea of who and what God is, given they do indeed entertain the notion of a god. When a particularly negative event or controversial beleif in the doctrine clashes with the said persons "Ideal God", there obviously cannot be a God, in their mindset. I encourage you to read the Bible, at the very least, it makes for an excellent read.

God is just, and is giving ample time for people to come to Him. At the time appointed, just as in our judicial system during a trial, those people found guilty of sinning will be judged. The only way out of that is to be Born Again, that is, to acknowledge Jesus the Christ as the Son of God, that He lived a sinnless life, died on the cross for everyones sins, and that He was resurrected in the same body He died in. If you accept that Jesus already took yours and my punishment for us, then you're saved and will not have to pay for sins at the judgement. Because God is so just, no sin unpaid for will go unnoticed and unpunished.
So to answer your questions with actual answers. Yes. No. No. He certainly is practicing/going to practice what He "preached".

No that's not entirely true. It was explained to me some time ago I don't remember exactly.
Jews make it to heaven through works and are the chosen people of God. Christians make it to heaven because Jesus died for our sins and but we have to be sincere when asking for forgiveness. Muslims get to heaven through works as the Jews because Muhammad was the last prophet.
People of other faiths through works can make it to heaven example would be Gandhi though not Christian.

There is some confusion in your question;
It looks as if you have confused or muddled several issues.
First of all What is you understanding of God?
surely if God is God, and He is the creator of all things then He may do what ever he wishes with this creation.
then What is your understanding of the old testament law?
Christ said He didn't come to change the law but rather affirm what had already been established. That being man was born into original sin and separated from God.
Lastly Christ's sacrifice and God's Grace are to most important corner stones of Christianity without which there would be no Christianity
Lastly

He's offering you a choice and you're resisting. Are you thinking someone else can save you from the pit of hell? Or do you not believe in hell?
Don't pin this on Jesus. He's the one that died to save your butt in the first place. He's not sending you to hell. But you might. Hope you make the right choice.

It is so funny how some Christians can reconcile a loving God and hell, a place HE created himself ,where he will be torturing people. They suffer from cognitive dissonance.
They will also try to rationalize that stupid concept by saying that we send ourselves to hell, HOW COULD WE SEND OURSELVES TO HELL IF HELL WAS NOT CREATED IN THE FIRST PLACE? Why did he create hell if he did not want to send anyone there? Why can he not destroy this hell that he created but enjoys torturing people there?
How can he be ALL LOVING AND FORGIVING?I would not send anyone to ETERNAL TORTURE.What am I more compassionate than God?
Christianity just makes no sense whatsoever.

Don't validate the message by complying. You are asking a rhetorical question you designed to anger people who believe in christ. This is not me, but no good comes of vehement disapproval and blatantly pointing out the hypocrises of religion. People with blind faith will not have their attitudes changed because someone on Yahoo Answers thinks he can disprove all of Christianity.
