So, today at Church, we had an amazing Youth service, and it really touched me, because I am a Saved Christian. But, at the end, everyone went up, to pray, and some people were crying. I am more of a quiet person at Church, and I felt bad that I wasn't crying, and I don't really understand why some people were. Do you cry at Church? And, is it bad that I didn't cry? I'm sorry to sound weird, but I'm confused. Thanks and God Bless!♥

Melissa, many people cry for different reasons at church. Some cry out of pain in their lives. While some, cry tears of joy. It is not a bad thing that you did not cry! Just be you and if your spirit moves you to tears, let them flow. If not, just enjoy the worship and do not second guess your actions! Let your actions be free coming and not something you think they should be!
Remember, God wants you as YOU ARE!

Sweetie, I start crying as soon as I sit down. Just being in the Lord's house touches me. It's embarrassing at times.
Someone once told me that it was because I was a sinner and full of conviction. That isn't true at all!.
I have a tender heart. If I see 1 person going forward I will cry because for every soul that's saved 10,000 demons die.
Some people who have been going for years (this is what my mom said) are more in the word than emotion even though they feel the Holy Spirit.
It shows as happiness and calmness. So don't be alarmed if you don't cry. You are just not as emotional as some and probably more than others.
I'm a lost cause. It's embarrassing but I will tell you anyway. When we are singing I am so choked up to be singing praises to God that sometimes I just move my mouth to the song or I'd be blubbering.

People cry at Church because the Holy Spirit is very strong when their is a group worshiping and praying at the same time and at the same place that it's impossible not to let out emotional feelings of mercy of our Lord. Don't feel bad, that just means you where happy with the Lord. When people go to the front and other people are there praying with them is because they are asking God to come into their heart and to guide them to be better Christians. Remember we are all sinners. God Bless \! AMEN! SHALOM!

People react different to situations differently. Do not feel bad and do not mistake tears for sincerity, God sees the heart. He cares more about how you live and not if you cry in church or not.
PS. Ignore all the atheistic responses, they would not understand.

People cry for different reasons. Sometimes it is because they are experiencing an especially close moment with God. Others cry because they are joyful...others because they are saddened by what had to happen to provide us with our savior etc. and still others because it is an emotional response to the feelings brought forth in the spirit. I cry sometimes...yet not always...and I too am saved. God Bless.

People cry when the Holy Spirit touches them for some reason. Only they know why. It is usually something very deep. Just because you didn't, doesn't make you any less of a Christian. When he touches you, you won't be able to stop it. Snot will be running down your face. Bring kleenex. You never know.

No it is not bad you did not cry. Our salvation is not determined by our emotions but in our faith in Christ. Sometimes when the Holy Spirit moves us we cry because we realize God's great love for us in Jesus Christ. I've cried before when the Holy Spirit really moved me, however, some people are not as emotional as others and do not cry. Remember though our salvation is based on faith not emotion. God bless.

A profound contact with the Holy Spirit is an overwhelming experience, and people respond to overwhelming experiences in different ways.
Have you ever seen someone who put their hand on a hot stove? Some folks will take their other hand and grip the wrist of the afflicted hand, and SHAKE IT! Others will wave the hand around in the air and hop up and down! Others look at the hand, and HOWL! Others run in place!
The point is: They have just had an OVERWHELMING EXPERIENCE, and everyone responds in his or her own way....

You ought to see what it is like to go to church in boot camp. Everyone was crying. It is because we were so grateful to God that the world isn't a horrible place like what you experience in boot camp.

Don't feel bad that you didn't cry, some people cry and some don't...It just don't matter...
The reason people cry is because they are touched by the Holy Spirit...Some cry, some laugh, some just feel happy and do nothing.....
