I answered a question from an asker ( who I will not mention)
the question was put in a way that I, yes, I, found offensive to Christians, it mocked the religion in an ignorant way, while trying to come across as interested in the answer. This falls in with one of my earlier questions on how easy it is for trolls to report you, without justification! the fact that YA must have seen the question and still decided to give me a violation is not fair! my answer was no worse than others!

I was just woundering about peoples views on life after death.I know this can be a bit of a touchy subject for some but still, please say what you think.
i think it would be very nice to know for sure if there is such a thing but in my personal opinion i think its not true.I believe that once you die your dead and you simply rot into the ground to help the growth of new plants in a cycle thats being going on for millions of years. You cant remember anything before you are born so why would you remember something when you are dead???There has been so many wars and so much death, and destruction over the idea of life after death.People willing to die, kill and commit such evil acts for something thatno-one can say definaely exists!!.but of course at the same time no-one can say it deffinatly does not.
So whats your opinions??.....
is life after death something that was simply made up by us humans to try to explain something that has no answer and to console people of the unknown?

So I gave my bible to a homeless man who was standing on the street corner with a sign that read "good christian guy, needs help" and well I didnt even think about it but i pulled over and just handed him my bible, i didnt even realize i had done it until he teared up said thank you and I pulled away.... anyways though I am in need of a new bible... So I was wondering, I am a Christain, tho very liberal... but what is the best Study Guide bible I should look for, any sites and names of specific bibles? I know king James is a very good/popular Version, I would also like one with my named inscribed on the cover... any ideas of a certain form to look for or any good sites, This sounds really terrible but I do not have much money, and So I cant get a really expensive bible, though i'd love to have one... so Got any Ideas of a certain bible form to look up to purchase?

I feel terrible asking this question because I have a feeling that I'm going to offend someone. That isn't my intention.

It is my understanding that the bible states that sex is for "one man and one woman". That is generally taken to mean that sex is for within the context of marriage. What about engagement? You have already made the promise to be with that person for the rest of your life. I have read accounts that it was normal for couples in biblical times to have sex while they were betrothed because betrothal entailed the same commitment as marriage.

To me, engagement is the same commitment as marriage. I will love and be with him and only him for the rest of my life. Why do I keep getting lectures about our sexual relationship?

Somebody sent me an email saying that I know them and that they are in love with me. Ok, who is it, fess up? And why are you after me? I'm married. If you just ask my friend TS who I tell everything to, you'll know that nothing in my marriage is lacking. Are you a Muslim? I ask because if you are you know that you are doing wrong. I am not against you, I think it's sweet, but I want to make it clear that I won't act on it. So who is it? Who calls themselves my secret admirer?

I am usually the first to criticize people for saying relgion is the number one cause of unnecessary conflict, but there are also very violent actions that happen to people who are religious by those who are not. So please don't act as if all violence would dissapate and the world would suddenly be all smiles and high IQs if religion were not around.

Can you now see the error that creates terror and we all have to clean it up. Even the head dress the women wear is different. We have fallen very very far off the mark when we call for those who are dead to help us. May The Lord Allah SWT forgive but I doubt it! :)

When will they finally wake? No those alive to wake not those in the ground long ago! Esspecially not those who have came after the Last and Final Messenger.

My Lord forgive but I doubt it! :)

Why are some of you fighting against the great loving spirit, When it's the CORRUPT world leaders you should be worried about, stop complaining how you got here in this world, its your own god given free will, we are not robots. Just get your self out of your situation, and try and make this a better world for our future generations. cause you might be one of those reborn.

I have often wondered this. In the West generally, people don't seem to be overly religious and you often hear about church attendance falling. People describe themselves as being Christian but I wonder if they know what it really means (I'm not a religious person by any means by the way).

In the USA it seems different. The media would have you believe that it is a very religious country. Very patriotic as well which is another point : in the West generally, patriotism seems to be "incidental" but not in the USA.

Any (rational) thoughts?

I know 9/11 was a little shocking 4 u white people. but with all the atrocities committed by u christians on muslims over so many decades. dont you agree u got of very lightly with the attack on 9/11 and rather than be full of hate and anger u should let it go. after all hanging onto these emotions can't be good 4 u. on behalf of all muslims we are willing to forgive u christians, as long as you do as u do as u are told.

I am a classical historian, so admittedly my knowledge base is limited on the rise of Islam. However, it seems to me that after Muhammed the Arab world became the most cosmopolitian, well-educated, humanitarian, accepting, artistic, and innovative people of the middle ages (in western history). Islamic heros like the Prophet and Saladin made the European Christians look... well a lot like the Islamic world looks today. Please do not try to rationalize the acts and attitudes of the current Islamic world. Intent is meaningless, perception is everything.
I simply want to know how the Islamic world went from the most civilized to the most intolerant, backwards, uneducated, neolithic culture on the planet. No matter how blind you may be, it is undeniable that the middle east was better off under its heroes.

Leave your venom in you fangs, this is how I see the Muslim world because this is what it portrays, I am simply looking for some honest insight into Islam's fall from grace.
