The policy seems to foster dishonesty and deceit, hardly Christian nor military values.

Many people are pushing for a change in policy. What should the new policy be?

At the World Body of Sociological Studies, meeting in Geneva, Switzerland during the '90's, a religious group was found and held up as a model of success for accomplishing world unity. Who was it?

If not why do you want the government to tell non christians who to marry and who to worship by outlawing gay marraiges and wanting prayer in public schools

Also, would you want to walk into a court house or other government building and see symbols of every religion but your own?
If not why should other religions be forced to see christian symbols in these places but not their own?

And what does "Freedom of Religion" mean to you?
Does it mean freedom of any CHRISTIAN religion or does it mean freedom of ANY religion?

Also do you think it is right for a religious group to boycott and picket in front of a store that sells to members of another religious group? If not why do christians like to boycott and picket pagan and similar shops even though they don't have to themselves buy from it since it is not aimed at them? (my husband has experience from that last question)

Maximal greatness here means that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are or share all great-making properties. Each person exemplifies all properties that constitute a being as fully divine. Each divine person (ex hypothesi) is omnipotent, omniscient, omnibenevolent, omnipresent, etc. But if each divine person is God in the sense of maximal greatness (as defined by Anselm of Canterbury), then how can one distinguish the Father from the Son or the Son from the Holy Spirit?

Reading so many anti-God comments and all the hateful stuff atheists say about us has me scaried. What happens if we get another leader like Hitler or Stalin who tries to fix "the Christian Problem".

99% of all animals that lived on this Earth at one point in time or another has gone extinct. Seeing that God is perfect and all, why wouldn't he make his creations (ie. animals) perfect? I mean if they were perfect they would be able to survive forever.

It's just common sense really.

I have been brought up to believe that if someone kills theirself than they automatically go to hell. But the reason Judas killed himself was because he betrayed Jesus, and God had said this had to be done to fulfill the prophecy. So does God damn a man that committed suicide or save the man that helped in the fulfillment of the prophecy?

I'm really wanting to understand, I have no religious background...so I'm really new at this and have just began reading the bible.
My question: how will I know if I truely believe that Jesus died for my sins? I mean, I believe what I have read, but I'm just having a hard time grasping how that will help me? So work on not sinning anymore, but it's ok if I slip up, as long as I believe in Jesus I am forgiven?
I just don't understand and if anyone could help me.
I really feel like God is knocking and I want to open the door, but how will I know that he has actually come into my life? And if I'm going to get spiritual attacks for believing...then I'm sort of afraid because I have had so much bad happening the past few years I'm afraid of going over the edge.
I work to accept the things that happen that their is a master plan for it all and God won't give me more than I can handle. I'm just not sure how much more I can deal with.

Assuming that it happens within the next.... 15 years.

Would you be a little sad, or kind of sad looking at what is about to happen?

I mean, I want to be with God and have this pain taken away from me and the world, but at the same time part of me wants to live out this life, experience love, my dreams, and all that this world has to offer.

I am but 15, and was wondering if other people (assumption made on date) agree?

I've got twelve disciples and a Buddha smile
Garden of Allah, Viking Valhalla, I've got a pantheon of animals in a pagan soul
Vishnu and Gaia, Aztec and Maya dance around my totem pole. I've got celestial mechanics to synchronize my stars
Seasonal migrations, daily variations.
I've got idols and icons, unspoken holy vows
Thoughts to keep well-hidden
Sacred and forbidden, free to browse among the holy cows.

That's why I believe?

Everyone who believes in some god or annother thinks that that god is responsilbe for things in some way or another, like why did god let this happen, or thank u god for healing this person, when in fact those are acts of nature or the body itself. also, why do people say that god allows violence and crime when it is, in fact, people killing and stealing and selling drugs. and people with and without gods seem to think that they cant make a difference in the world because it is too big for them to handle, like moving a mountain or stopping crimes. these modes of thinking just make people think that they can have nothing apart from what is givn them, except for a select few who had enough brains to actually do something. so instead of praying for your god to help you, go out and do something.

I was talking to my uncle about my career and I told him that I wanted to be an archaeologist. He gave me mean look and started talking about how the Ancient Egyptians were destroyed by "god" because they didn't believe and worshipped "false idols"!

The same thing happens at my TEXAS school! The Christian kids seem to sneer and me for trying to learn Egyptian hieroglyphics. They are also really rude when I tell them that I worship Egyptian deities.. Why are they this way to Ancient Egyptians? I've also noticed that they're thins way to Romans and Greeks sometimes too...

Why?

Well, I don't lie or cuss ever. I'm not "born-again". I'm not even Christian. Heck, I'm not even religious or theistic.

So, how do I have these attributes that apparently you can only have and keep as a "born-again" Christian?
