People buy cars to get to places, and they say it is the intention of a murderous person to kill.So I reccon people should hold a special license to own a car the same way people should be allowed to kill in another way with a gun Hey H enry Rollins two wrongs does not make anything right.Eliminate guns and cars and be peaceful.

People in cars (usually) don't mean to kill people. That's hwy they're called accidents. And everyone with guns don't always want to kill people(sometimes just to feel safe in their house, or to hunt, or to shoot those plate things that get thrown in the air)
Cars kill more people, but guns are usually more intentional

"the same way people should be allowed to kill in another way with a gun"
You're saying there that people are allowed to kill people because they have a license to get a gun. That's not true. Just pointing it out

While I support the right of the people to keep and bear arms, your argument does have something wrong with it.

Killing someone by hitting them with a car endangers the killer's own life, since the person would be inside the weapon used. Therefore, a person is probably far less likely to use a car as a weapon than they would be to use a gun.

However, if you look at it not in terms of intentional murders, but in terms of all deaths accidental and not so, then cars are one of the most dangerous inventions ever.

Btw... where I live, you DO have to have a special license to operate a car... I'm just sayin is all...

Well more people do die per year in cars than by guns, but guess what? I love my cars, and I love my guns. Ain't no one taking them from me without a fight either! This country is free for a reason, if I wanna own an AK-47 I can buy one! Likewise if I want to own a Cadillac Coupe Deville I can buy one of those too. Leave the free market alone!

Um...most of the time, car accidents are...well, accidents, so why take away something that is (most of the time) based off of factors way out of control...now,as for gun control, having a complete ban on something will not help matters, remember the Exhibition? The start of organaized crime in America...As for if a car is deadlier than a gun, in certain circumstances, yes....car has more splash damage (fragments, skidding, etc.) while a gun normally only hits one person per bullet...so...I hope I made a point somewhere in there...hope I helped! ^_^

Unlike cars, guns are designed to have more accuracy, portability, more so called "stopping power" etc. Even though they do not kill, they are designed to kill and wound more effectively. Cars however are designed with various safety measures in mind. Neither one kill, the users do, but comparing the two is a bit unfair. Moreover, drivers do need a license to prove their driving is not dangerous to others.

Actually Alcohol is the most deadly!! but cars are worse then guns by a long shot. Drowning causes more deaths then guns. I think we should outlaw cars and pools, maybe even buckets sense some kids drown in buckets too.

both kill and it only takes one death per person anyway . whatever they do that is reasonable to aleviate accidental deaths is fine with me . I'm an advocate of new non lethal weapons for self defense but the legislatures only work under the table and don't answer e-mail other wise. think of the thousands of children lives that would be saved and the money generated by such . the highway deaths have already been lessened greatly by stopping drinking on the roads .do you prefer two deaths or two lives ?
eliminate radical excuses and use reasonable resources .

how many people die in road accidents? How many people die in jumbo Jet accidents? Cars and Jumbo Jets are not created to kill with, guns are, but by far the most people that are killed is by large passenger Air Jets, not only do they kill the people inside them but also people on the ground depending of course where they crash. But in the end it's always the user that decides what to do with the object.

My father was killed by a drunk driver; but I don't blame the beer manufacturer or the car manufacturer. I don't blame the person that got the alcohol to the 17 year old girl that killed my father. No, I blame the girl. The person. Yes, the alcohol impaired the driver, and the vehicle is what actually killed my father, but these are but instruments; the killer was the girl.
