Assuming that it happens within the next.... 15 years.

Would you be a little sad, or kind of sad looking at what is about to happen?

I mean, I want to be with God and have this pain taken away from me and the world, but at the same time part of me wants to live out this life, experience love, my dreams, and all that this world has to offer.

I am but 15, and was wondering if other people (assumption made on date) agree?

I understand, it is because we cannot truly imagine the experience that heaven will be so we cling to what we know. I graduate this school year but I have four more years. After all that hard work I want to be able to use those skills. But would I trade that time for time spent in heaven, no, but I really want to use those skills. lol

*Don't worry about those answers that do not address your actual feelings. Some people have no sense of empathy or humor.

My suggestion is you had better be ready for HIS COMING. The Bible says that He will come like a thief in the night. Always be ready. Live your life as if he's coming today, but prepare for tomorrow. Go to school, go to church, get a job, and all the things we do as humans....love your parents and siblings, your family, your friends..

But be ready. You dont want to miss this event.

If you have ask forgiveness of your sin and Jesus into your heart to be your saviour...then you are ready, but stay ready.

Dont let this world blind side you into thinking it won't happen. The day or time is not known, not even to Christ. Only the Father in Heaven knows.

What you are basing your feelings on is on what you know of as LIFE. This life is really all that we have and it is hard to let go of what we know and have. It's like a neglected child not wanting to be away from the only parents that he knows. BUT, what you must try to understand is that what you have in this life to look forward to or already have is nothing at all compared to what you will have and can look forward to. So, really, you won't be missing out on anything in this life except the pains and sorrows!! I'm happy that you are enjoying this life God gave you, but it won't even come close to the perfect life in your eternal future! God bless

I agree with you. I, like every Christian, long to be in the presence of my Savior in heaven. On the other hand, I want to see my niece grow up, have children of my own, and live the life that God gave me.
I also would like for those who are undecided on whether to accept Christ to have time to decide before it's too late for them. I know a lot of wonderful, loving people who would suffer in the tribulation if it happened right now. I just want them to come to their senses before that happens.

You have the same chance as anyone else who has ever lived, since the time of Christ.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Just stay right with the Lord and you're covered, either way.

God isn't going to cheat you.

I'm ready right now, but it's sad to think about all those that are not ready. I have love ones that are there waiting for me now, and I have some friends, and loveones that are not ready and they seem to think, they have all the time in the world.

I love this world because it is only a shadow of what's to come. But the Rapture will be glorious and wonderful! The apostles thought it was going to happen their day. I thought it was going to happen 30 years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened in the next 50 years or so.

I have heard that from more than one young person. The thing to realize is that we have NO IDEA how good it will be without sin in our nature. We are like drug addicts, feeding off of our evil, and we don't even see it that way.

So this question I pose to you:
What is it like being no longer separated from God; without sin and physical separation any longer?

Well, I'm 44 so I'm looking at it from a different perspective then you are. If it happened right this second that would be just fine by me.

It happens in God's timing. No, I would not be sad. I know that he has a better place for all of us who want to take part in it.
