and the bad people who claim they accepted and believe in Jesus are going to Heaven just because they accepted and believe in Jesus?

does this make sense to you?

I can't help but think that God is playing favorites if that's the case.

"Kathy Griffin's offensive remarks will not be part of the E! telecast on Saturday night," the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences said in a statement Monday.
In her speech, Griffin said that "a lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus."
She went on to hold up her Emmy, make an off-color remark about Christ and proclaim, "This award is my god now!"
The comedian's remarks were condemned Monday by Catholic League President Bill Donohue, who called them a "vulgar, in-your-face brand of hate speech."
According to the TV academy and E!, when the four hour-plus ceremony is edited into a two-hour program, Griffin's remarks will be shown in "an abbreviated version" in which some language may be bleeped.

I do not feel that the media should bend to this guy's OPINION!
On a personal level, it just makes me sad she would feel that way, BUT this IS AMERICA!

Message: My friend Susan, as you know I and the twins are overseas, I cannot say where, but we have been evacuated from our suppose to be safe site and moving back to Australia, not to where my inlaws live, but 100's of miles away, the violence here is getting very bad and we heard a bomb go off last night close to where I live, and it was frightening, I had troubles settling the girls down

What I am asking can you ask my friends on R&S to pray that we get out safely tomorrow and back to Australia, under the special circumstance the Army has given permission for my husband to be with us and help us return,thank God

Please pray that we get out safely, will email you when we settle back in Australia

If I new someone's birth date and said Happy Birthday without knowing they were Jehovah's Witness would they say thank you or something else. Also if I didn't know and like in a shop at christmas I said Happy Christmas would they mind, or would you just say thanks you too, or would you say something else?

I have been suffering from pain in my knees for a while now. I then realized that all I had to do was purchase some Miracle Whip and rub it on my knees, and now the pain is gone. Thank You Jesus. Has anyone else had success using Miracle Whip? It really is a miracle.

Just an observation I have made in my time on this forum.

Yes, I fully recognize the ridiculousness of many of the things that Christianity believes, and I also know that I am painting myself with a big bulls-eye asking this question. So go ahead and fire at will.

Anyway, Atheists constantly ask how Christians can believe in things like a virgin birth, resurrection from the dead, burning bushes, parting of the seas, talking donkeys, global floods... you get the idea.

Christians believe that a God that exists outside of our plane of existence created the entire universe out of nothing, and formed it exactly to his specific design. Now wouldn't it go to figure that if we believe that God can do THAT, then the rest of the Bible is child's play to him?

So if we believe Genesis 1-2 is true, then there's no logical reason to believe that the rest couldn't be true.

Not trying to open debate--I'm just curious what kind of answers I'll get.

The bible gives two different versions of the lords prayer
1. Matthew 6:9-15
2. Luke 11:2-4

In Luke one of the diciples asks Jesus to teach them to pray as John taught his diciples.

In Matthew Jesus is speaking in a Poetic parable tone rather than responding to a direct question.
So which one is correct? Now obviously both cannot be eye witness accounts or else they would both have the same writing style and they would both be texutually accurate with each other. So which one did Jesus really say? And why are the stories in each gospel written so differently than the others?

If 40 days of rain flooded the entire Earth, where did all the water go afterwards? It couldn't have simply all evaporated away!

What about waterfowl? They wouldn't die, they would simply swim on the surface of the water, diving for the odd fish, and wait it out, wouldn't they?

And what about volcanoes? Did the water rise over the tops of all the volcanoes and snuff them all out?

And what about the Matterhorn? Did the water rise over top of the tallest mountain? I don't think it could ever rain THAT much!

And, when it started raining, didn't the water level rise gradually with the rain? Or did it just instantly drown everything on the planet the first day and then for 40 days it was totally off the charts?

Don't Christians ever wonder these things?
