Sun Gazing is looking straight to the sun. Your eyes will be blinded if you do it. Of course there is moon gazing and star gazing if you look at the star and the moon straightly or directly with your own eyes.
I am sorry to ask from you why did you have an avatar like mine. Can you not make an avatar which is different from mine?

Hello, dahling!
Heyward Boyce here, at your service. I want you to know that I just started sungazing, and I love it! I'm totally fine! I was very nervous about doing it but I can hold my gaze for 80 seconds now and I feel fine! I haven't notived any huge changes in me, except that I am a bit less hungry. Also, I felt great during an intense ultimate frisbee practice today and all I had was a green juice, a banana, some almonds and broccoli. If you're interested, here's how I am doing it:
Check weather.com to find out what time the sun sets and rises where you live. The sun is only safe for staring at the hour it comes up and the hour it goes down, because that's when it's ultraviolet light (UV index) is zero. If the sun rises at 7:10 am, your window of opportunity is open until 8:10am. If it sets at 8:30pm, then you have from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. "It is scientifically proven beyond a reasonable doubt that during these times, one is free from UV and IR rays exposure, which is harmful to your eyes."- www.solarhealing.com
Then pick a sunset or sunrise to stare at. Only stare for 10 seconds the first day. then 20 seconds the second day, then 30 seconds the third day, and so on. USE COMMON SENSE! If your eyes start hurting, then effing STOP. Also, your goal is to be able to stare for 44 minutes, not a second longer. All this info is on the websites I included below.
I learned that the best time for me to stare is the first few minutes when it comes up and the last few minutes before it goes down, which makes sense since I am a beginner. I went on the internet to find out if there were any other ordinary people who succeeded with HRM's techniques http://www.solarhealing.com and I found this guy: http://www.sungazing.com/
Good luck!
Heyward
p.s.: Keep a journal of how you feel when you do it!

Sun gazing has been in existence but rediscovered by
an engineer from Kerala and who has been successfully
tested by a panel of doctors in Gujerat as well as in USA.
The method consist of gazing the rising sun on the first day
upto 10 seconds only and next day for another 10 seconds
and in this manner everyday you increase by 10 seconds to
reach a target of 9 months so that you can gaze upto half
an hour and more. The ultimate aim being that you get
victory over hunger and your body gets solarised through
your eyes and then you never need to consume any food at
all in which case there is victory over all physical and
mental diseases as well. All this gazing should be done
by standing on the ground bare-footed and not on grass,
wood, cement etc., The engineers name is Mr. Ratan.
Do google and get more details on sun-gazing theraphy.
This is different from surya namaskar i.e. physical
exertion takes in surya namaskar while in sun gazing you
just stand (not sit) barefooted on the ground without any
exertion. There is also moon gazing and star gazing but
sun gazing is more effective and after all moon and stars
reflect the shine from the sun itself so why go for secondary
source when primary source is available and without any
charge. Cheers!
