They probably share the parking lot because no one goes to the Baptist Church in that area, so it makes it look like there are people there. Smart.
LOL.........

Because Mormons ( LDS ) know they're in the true church. Other churches just guess they're right, but Mormons are 100% sure they're in the right one. And since they know that, they want more people to join and be part of it. The LDS Church is increasing so much every year. A lot of people join the LDS church and they realize that's the true church. Another reason's because it's not a boring meeting, it's actually really fun, you talk to nice people and the classes are fun. During the week there are lot of activities going on. If you're not part of any church, I encourage you to go 1 Sunday in the morning. I've no doubt that the LDS church has the true gospel. =D

You call that cute? Try this ....
Near my place, there is a buddhist temple, a taoist temple, one catholic church and a protestant church all within walking distance and sharing the same public parking lots.
Now comes the cute part ..... whenever there is some gathering at the protestant church, you will see plastic chairs in the parking lots and their members would be there to tell other people only those attending their church can park there.
If you do not get the cute part, the cute part is : Why the Catholic church, the taoist temple and the buddhist temple having no problem sharing the PUBLIC carpark and only the protestant?

Sure: I think that is the next big step Christians have to take is to learn Jesus will not judge you only by which religion you are but by your thoughts and actions more than your religious affiliation. Of course I am L.D.S. and know we are here to build the kingdom and those who are worthy will be brought up from the grave to help him get started when he first returns. However many very good people have died with out having the benefit of the true church and he will not judge them as less if they have been righteous. Take the Founding Fathers of this Country for example. Now that said I do believe as well the ordnance's of baptism and all the rest do have to be observed before going into heaven as is stated. However many who passed from this earth are getting their work done by proxy also.

That is how it should be.
Too bad all Baptist churches aren't so decent that way. Back in my Baptist days, one of the final straws in my decision to leave was when my church went to the city to try to prevent a mosque from being built next door. Yes, I consider Islam to be a false religion, but what in the world did that church think they were gonna accomplish by that sort of behavior?

My Baptist church is next to a Mormon Church but we don't share a parking lot. Generally they are good neighbors even if we disagree on a lot of theology. They are our neighbors, classmates, coworkers and friends. I have no plans to convert to their belief system and if someone asks I will tell them what I believe. Mostly we just coexist.

There's a Stake Center near me that shares a parking lot with a Seventh Day Adventist Church. It's great cuz they meet on Saturday and we meet on Sunday, so there's no conflict.

That is cool,I also think it is kind of funny. My husband served his mission in The south and the ususally only talked to people who were baptist and catholic, but the is pretty cool that you guys share a parking lot.

Mooney has a point... increase in either church can lead to conflict....
Luckily we're a pretty wealthy religion, unless that church is a part of some council or group of Baptists, they wouldn't stand a chance.

Ya it is. And Mormons and Baptists have a lot more in common than just parking lots.
