One day Jesus was looking around in Heaven and He saw many people there that He wasn't sure should be there. Perhaps their lives were iffy. He went to St. Peter and told him he wasn 't doing his job manning the gates. St. Peter said,"It's not my fault. I turn them around at the front but then your Mother sneaks them in the back door." Christ walks away laughing shaking His head.

men (women too) what a crusade you have in here christian vs atheists...
Usually i like to join sides but tonight i dont feel combative at all and most of that god/no god bores me...is it maybe that i am seeing the light???
So i say: people of the world believe whatever you want but turn the voulme of your tv down and dont disturb me

why dont some christians and most catholics use god's name? Do you know that his name means many things. His name alone gives us reasons of why we should worship him. He even encourages us to draw close to him. how can you draw close to someone when you dont know theyre name nor do you use it. besides he wants us to use his name. he says that whoever calls on his name will be saved.if you would like to know his name or have any comments about this please email me.

in 2 weeks why has so much ben thrown at my family and i? my uncle was in a coma after he contracted hepatitis A and had to have a liver transplant (he is awake and breathing on his own now) my mom has a dr apointment to check her out to make sure there is no signs of ovarian cancer, i got my car repoed a week ago and cant get it back till monday and i had planned on going home to see my family this weekend. My dad broke his arm at work and now they have him in the hospital doing a blood transfusion cuz his hemoglobin was really low. and they are going a catscan to see if its osteoperosis or cancer. if its cancer ill have an emotional breakdown. so if this is true about god, why does everything have to happen all at once? (im not a religious person, but i seem to be leaning more towards him for support)

Yesterday my dream became true. The boss came to the job and fired the guy that was persecuting me. Now me who was working as a contrator will replace him and work for the company. I never wished that for him but God answered my prayers.

I'm leaving for Army basic training in a few days, and I was wondering if anyone knew any scriptures that I could look up to help me get through the next 11 weeks. It's going to be a tough time for me since I'll be really far out of state, and this is the longest time I've been away from home. I'm really going to miss this one person in particular, which seems to be doing the most damage at the moment. I can't imagine how I'm going to feel when I actually get there. Any help?

Our current understanding of DNA already provides overwhelming evidence for evolution.

We've only known about DNA for 50 years. It's only in the last few years that the human gnome has been mapped and we're only just started to unravel where each signpost on that map is pointing.

As we study our own dna and that of other species, the evolutionary pathway will become far clearer and more defined in every detail.

The evidence in support of evolution that comes from this will be far more impressive than what is already an irrefutable mountain of evidence.

Will this progressly chip away at the number of fundamentalists?

Or will they merely say "DNA was put there to test our faith"?
