first off the "occult" is a word that means "things which are hidden from view" the word "occullar" pertains to vision.there is nothing sinister about the "occult".these mysteries are kept secret for many reasons.some people do not have the capacity to understand mans history proir to the king james bible.we all grow up having this chrstian dogma shoved down our throat and when we ask questions we get vague answers.the truth is the truth and the universal truth is love .thats it bottom line.modern day christianity has hijacked so much of the ancient mysteries its deplorable.if you are a devout christian, good for you.you want to be lead around be the nose by guilt and fear thats too bad.there is more out there to learn than "i am reborn im going up in the rapture express" thats a load of bolluks.but if you belive it then the choice is yours.freewill thats what makes us what we are humans.immortal spirits trapped in matter.

Unless you're in a cult, simply go back to church if you want to go back to Christianity.
The occult can apply to many things though. Technically Catholics are part of the occult because they literally turn the wafers and wine into the body and blood of Jesus, magic, occult.

Huh. If you want to get out just do it. Occultism has no central authority or church. Just leave if it no longer interests you.
I have had only positive experiences with the occult. And know enough about the pitfalls and dangers that are real and not part of Christian mythology. No I am happy where I am.
But it has no hold on me if I wanted to leave I could just do it. Christianity on the other hand is the kind of religion that uses coercion and brainwashing.

I was in the occult for a very long time. I started in high school and didn't really break out of it until I was about 22 or 23. Because of my involvement, I was led into an adulterous affair that ultimately ended my first marriage. I also participated in a ritual that was designed to end the life of someone that a friend accused of rape.
Thank God that particular ritual didn't work. First, because I know now that the accused was innocent and second because years later I worked with the guy's mother. It is a very uncomfortable feeling to look someone in the eye and know that you were a part of something that was designed to deprive her of her child.
Interesting side note. A couple of years later the girl died in a car crash. From the description of the accident, she died in much the same manner that was intended for the guy she accused.
After my marriage I drifted for a while. I looked into Buddhism, Taoism, and Meher Baba. Was just secular for awhile. Then my dearest friend (who is one of the most intelligent and intellectual people I have ever met) became a Christian. Would not leave me alone until I went to church with her. I was saved that night. Life has improved enormously in ways I cannot even begin to describe here.

You just get out of it.
Everybody's had a brush with that. Specially in this century and this particular country. Til you find out it's absolutely bogus. Self destructive and degrading. Then you become aware evil wears a suit and tie, even goes to church or works for the F.B.I. I think you know what to do.
It's a good time for it. The head of all that right now is in deep despair.
I think we all know why, too.
It's just like a flake, phony, or backstabber who wants to pal with you.
Easy to blow off.

I was pretty heavy into the New Age Movement, then Jehovah's Witnesses---just studied with them. Now, I'm a born-again Christian for good. No going back.
Hubby was a devout Catholic. We became Christians together before we got married.

Most of the christian religions are a cult. Cult means you follow some leader. If yo think about it why would there be so many different ones if they are actually following Jesuse's teachings. For the original teachings of Jesus Before king Constantine Changed so many things. Google gospelofthenazirenes.com For sincere seeker of The Universal Truth Jesuses teachings not Paul's or the book of this or the book of that. Just Jesus original teachings.

I was Wiccan for nearly six years. I'd put the whole story here, but it would take too long, and I'd probably get flamed for it. For more details, feel free to email me.
