men (women too) what a crusade you have in here christian vs atheists...
Usually i like to join sides but tonight i dont feel combative at all and most of that god/no god bores me...is it maybe that i am seeing the light???
So i say: people of the world believe whatever you want but turn the voulme of your tv down and dont disturb me
(for whoever tempted to reply, if you dont like it in here just go away....i am 1 question away of my good bye from here

Yes it does. Sooner or later all fundamentalists will ask themselves -- Why is God (not) doing this. The usual answer is God works in strange ways. All you have to do is listen to christians that say -- pray to St. Anthony to fix that problem. Probably because St Anthony has God-like power. So there must be as many Gods as there are saints.
what about Trinity-tarianism which adds another 3 gods. What about a Muslim father who thinks he has the right to murder his daughter just because she wanted to work. This, after God said Thou Shalt Not Kill. What about going into a Mosque -- take your shoes off but it OK to bring the machine gun in. All of them will eventually ask themselves -- what am I doing.......

People will either respond to the call of God or they will not. Religions or belief systems only get in the way of the personal relationship that God wants with each of us so yes, in a way, one religion will create another opposing belief system.

Until we see the first atheist suicide bomber blowing up churches I think atheists are fairly mild-mannered if caustic.
