I'm leaving for Army basic training in a few days, and I was wondering if anyone knew any scriptures that I could look up to help me get through the next 11 weeks. It's going to be a tough time for me since I'll be really far out of state, and this is the longest time I've been away from home. I'm really going to miss this one person in particular, which seems to be doing the most damage at the moment. I can't imagine how I'm going to feel when I actually get there. Any help?

Forgot to mention I'm a Christian, so I'll greatly appreciate any scriptures I can look up in the Bible.

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. "In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world." (John 16:32, 33)
"...I will never leave you, nor forsake you; therefore I can boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear what man can do to me" (Hebrews 13:5b,6). Trials develop godly character. "...we exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character, and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us...
"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
"In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which perishes, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ." The true believer should accept trials and tribulations because "You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for Gods own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" (1 Peter 1:6, 7, 2:9). "If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you....."if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not feel ashamed, but in that name let him glorify God" (1 Peter 4:14, 16).
"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him" (James 1:2-4,12).

Don't be afraid, for I am with you.
Don't be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
Isaiah 41 v 10

He guards the paths of the just
and protects those who are faithful to Him.
Then you will understand what is right, just and fair,
and you will find the right way to go.
For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will fill you with joy.
Proverbs 2 v 8-10

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the LORD:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
He is my God, and I trust Him.
For He will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
He will cover you with His feathers.
He will shelter you with His wings.
His faithful promises are your armour and protection.
Do not be afraid of the terror of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
Though a thousand fall at your side
though ten thousand are dying around you
these evils will not touch you.
v 9 If you make the Lord your refuge
if you make the Most High your shelter
no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
FOR HE WILL ORDER HIS ANGELS
TO PROTECT YOU WHEREVER YOU GO.
They will hold you up with their hands
so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone.
v 14 The LORD says "I will rescue those who love me.
I will PROTECT those who trust in My Name.
When they call on me, I will answer
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honour them.
Psalm 92

In the Bible, it might be Psalms 139:14. In the Book of Mormon, it is the thirty second bankruptcy of Alma. And the 121st element of the D&C. BTW, Alma 7:10 says Jesus used to be born AT Jerusalem, that's virtually what you stated.
