I posted this question a long time ago before my puter crashed and I lost it all. If you have children 8 and under especially 5 and under, what are some ways you can think of to talk about God at their level and using gardening of flowers to teach lessons. Please only answer if you have good ideas, the answer that just post to get 10 points or 3 pts. for answering are just irritants to us all. I know children very very well, but I always like to brain storm and last time I came up with great responses to put on my list. WEd. is our first and I think I'm going to start looking at various flower seed of all kinds and shapes and explain to them that they were created by God like this, and then each plants one and as time goes by it will turn into some kind of flower, just like God created them unique etc. Please don't voice your opinion as to whether you think I should do this or not, if I wanted to know that, I would ask, please :)

as the Son of God and saviour of the human race to get into Heaven. The Jahovah witnesses believe no woman gets into Heaven, and excuse me if I'm wrong but don't the Jewish and Muslim faiths also claim to be the only way into Heaven. Isn't it enough to just lead a good life without even believing in God.

The need is urgent.

Even if everyone drops their prejudices tomorrow to work on this, it will take years to properly co-ordinate the response.

No matter how different our opinions may be, or how we feel about each others beliefs, we need to come together, look each other in the eye, and see that we are all essentially the same, and that each one of us is just as important to save from climate change and it's impact as each other.

This woman amazes me. And I would LOVE to meet her someday. She actually inspired me to try to abolish all the hate that I have in my heart towards anyone. She's an angel in disguise! We need more people like her! Don't you think?

a normal human being will donate to charity and once in a while do good, not necessarily do bad but sometimes will, will that person match up to the saints and end up in heaven even if that person knows that they could be more saintly but choose not to be and help more people but to the expence of suffering in third world countries.

If God loves all humans, why is it that he allows them to suffer? Ask yourself would your parents allow you to suffer from starvation or poverty like you see of homeless children in the city where you live in?

If God loves all humans why does he not prevent humans from being harmed when he knows everything that will take place in the future? Ask yourself would your parents allow you to get on a plane if they knew ahead of time that the plane would crash and burn?

If God loves all human beings, why are babies born attached at the heads, or that some are born with disorders like autism and down syndrome? Ask yourself would your parents give birth to you so that you can experience the miracle of life as a unique child with a permanent disability?

If you parents acted like the way God acts would you say that they love you?

Isn't there a thought experiment where a man's brain is slowly replaced by electronic parts? And the question is, in the end, "is the collection of electronic parts really still the man?" Doesn't that demonstrate the difficulty of claiming the identity of a person is physically contained in his or her brain? And what does this theory do for the problem of qualia?

Another way of asking this is, don't you think a human built from scratch cell-by-cell in a laboratory wouldn't truly experience events, but would merely mimic human behavior like an android? Doesn't that mean there is a missing nonphysical ingredient, the sentience?

The way I see it, if the Bible is literal then it is a crock and anyone who has actually spent any time reading it would know that it is a crock if it is meant as literal. If it is interpretive then it is open to various interpretations and thus becomes useless since it has nothing that is held as true without the ability to be picked apart through interpretation.

Right?

Many Christians believe that the great flood occured around 4,500 years ago. I come from Australia, our indigenous people lived in this country at least 60,000 years ago. Our Australian animals are unique. We have supposedly descended from Noah and his family but the evidence is stacked up against this theory. No offence intended to anyone of any religion but I'd like your opinion.
