Which are Israel (verse 4).
Then why are there still Jews???
(notice how i worded this like the other questions like this)
Wouldn't a better fit to be with the 'great multitude' of verse 9?
Never been able to understand why JWs would think this. If you do, tell me, enquiring minds want to know.

All this bickering over beliefs and world-views, all this judging and accusing and mocking...just reflect upon what you were hoping to get in your stocking and what you might actually find there come the day.

Catholics do not worship Mary, the Mother of Christ--as though she were a deity. Of all the misconceptions about Catholic belief and practice, this one is the most absurd. Catholics are just as aware as Protestants that Mary was a human creature, and therefore not entitled to the honors which are reserved to God alone. What many non-Catholics mistake for adoration is a very profound love and veneration, nothing more. Mary is not adored, first because God forbids it
Mary herself prophesied: ``For behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. Because he that is mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is his name.'' (Luke 1:48-49).
However, Catholics do feel that Mary is entitled to a great measure of exaltation because, in choosing her as the Mother of Redemption, God Himself exalted her--exalted her more than any other human person before or since.

So why do you say Catholics worship Mary when we don't?

i need some clarification on this:
end times: Jesus will rule with co-rulers - the apostles of his time. Paradise will be on earth. 144000 will live in it. Man will be immortal.
So where do the other souls go? or family members of same faith who have died recently, where are their souls, since they arent in heaven.
Please answer according to my questions.
And for those wanting to bash: i know about Charles Taze Russell, and the illuminati, this question is for enlightenment, not criticim.

My husband says Jehovah Witnesses are a cult, but I truly disagree. I have not seen them do anything harmful and if anything, I agree to their beliefs. I will be living in Japan soon with my husband and he forbids me from attending the congregation there. When I said I would he blew up and was in fits of rage. I feel like the only way to keep peace is to secretly do this on my own. Yet, I feel like this displeases God. I love my husband very much and I do not want to lose him. I also do not want to lose God's favor. If there is everlasting life, I want my husband there too. How do I get him to understand? I do not want to force him and I do not want him gettting into something he doesn't quite understand. I do not want to hurt him. He doesn't like religion and he says they only cause problems. In fact, he despise religion. Any religion. He wants me to do things I feel God would dissaprove of; small things like watching violent movies, celebrating holidays/birthdays, getting drunk....

My husband will not let me be friends with a Jehovah Witness nor attend any of their congregations. He also said when we have children, I am not to tell them my beliefs because he feels they should decide their beliefs on their own. This is not only about the Jehovah Witnesses, but anything to do with God as well. I am worried that by the time I do have children, and they grow up, they will already be influenced by the world that it will be harder for them to be decent in God's eyes. It is already hard for me because I have not always been raised a Christian. My husband is cautious of my beliefs in Jesus and God, and feels they are a threat to him sometimes. He is upset if I do not celebrate is birthday or other holidays because he feels I do not love him. I treat every day as a special day, and buy him gifts and do special things everyday. Yet, even on holidays and birthdays he becomes upset. He also said he wants our children to celebrate these days. I don't want to lose him.

A Christian is someone who believes in God and follows the Bible, right?

So why do people keep saying Catholics are not Christians because they don't follow the Bible, have you ever attended the Catholic Mass? The Priest reads straight from the Bible and the Mass is centered on the Bible! In the Mass we pray to Jesus with the Lord's Prayer and not Mary's prayer Mary is not mentioned in the Mass unless it is in the sermon

We are not a cult we worship God and pray to God and believe in Him so how are we not Christians?

From watchtower.org it stated the following:"Blood is also sacred in God's eyes. God says that the soul, or life, is in the blood. So it is wrong to eat blood. It is also wrong to eat the meat of an animal that has not been properly bled. If an animal is strangled or dies in a trap, it should not be eaten. If it is speared or shot, it must be bled quickly if it is to be eaten.—Genesis 9:3, 4; Leviticus 17:13, 14; Acts 15:28, 29"

This just irritates me. CHRISTIANS are people who believe in CHRIST. Catholics are a TYPE of CHRISTIAN. If you're comparing Catholics with Baptists/Methodists/etc, you're looking for the word "PROTESTANT."

Is that so hard to accept?

And Catholics RESPECT Mary. They don't WORSHIP her.

The fact that people are ignorant about Catholicism but still make blanket/wrong statements about them... that's just stupid. Go educate yourselves.

And I'm not Catholic. I'm just an agnostic who wants to set the record straight.
