I converted to Islam in March 2007. I need legal documentation of this event in my life. There is a new imam at the mosque. Friends of the halaqa told me that there is a form on line that i can print out and fill in myself and any imam can witness. Which website do i use to print out the form.

People are always asking questions about Catholics. I've been in Catholic school for a long time, but before that, I was in a Baptist school. Sure, there are differences, but sometimes it seems as though people think Catholics are aliens from some distant planet outside the Milky Way. And people seem to have such contempt for them. Really, they're not as strict, cold, and strange as people paint them.

I'm agnostic, but having been around Catholics, I can fairly say that they are just as accepting, loving, and down-to-Earth as any other person.

Why do people think they're so strange?

i am catholic and have went to catholic school all my life. but how can one really belive that eve eating an apple from the "forbidden tree" caused original sin. and how can we belive that noah built a huge great ark and got two of every animal and put them in the ark while an upset god just whiped out and killed everyone else on earth not in the ark. these stories and many other in the bible are ridiculous. so how are we supposed to belive them. and dont give me that bs that its Faith. because all faith is is a fancy word catholics use that really means no proof.

What is the spiritual argument against it? Not, "What is the scriptural argument against it", please.

Is it because the outcome of a game of chance is random, thus not decided by God? There isn't supposed to be anything beyond God's control.

Is it due to a classification of being an addictive substance, like drugs or alcohol? Could it at least be enjoyed in moderation?

If God wanted me to win a hand against a sinner, would he give me 4 aces, or would he punish me for gambling and make me bust out? And why does the church down the street have Bingo Night? Just wonderin'.

Don't they know that in 2005 it was discovered the original bit of papyri actually says the number is 616.
Whether publishers of the Bible have the necessary integrity to correct this major typo in future publications of the Bible is highly doubtful,yet the fact remains that the original number was 616!

the books of jews and chrisitians do stated a next prophet. they also didnt say that thier propthet is the last, as islam says about muhammad (PBUM). then why do the jews and christians dont acknowledge muhammad as prophet? is there any reason or just because of they are following a seperate religion? notable that muslims acknowledge jesus and moses as prophet.

christians, what if muslims one day storm your church, beat your pastor, and try to destroy your church?

will you

1. gather the christians quick enough and fight back, push them back to their mosque, and destroy their mosque

2. let them do what they want to do, at the same time, preach and shout to them to repent in Jesus Name.

if you believe in faith, what's the purpose of evidence? or how could you disprove or tell apart which "other" gods are the "real" one if those gods are also based on faith? So, what exactly is the purpose of proof/evidence?

P.S. i know some of Christians would say - just read the Bible and stuff, but the truth is, like the bible, there are other faith-based religious scriptures like the Qu'ran, Tanakh, etc. I don't see any purpose of these non-evidential sources.

Muslims,

Lets talk basic common sense.

You say the bible is corrupted. BUT…Do you know that the Bible is the SAME as it was thousands of years ago? This can be proven 100% by manuscripts and the dead sea scrolls. And especially the old testament (eg exodus) that was written even before Jesus was born to Mary.

NOW…the Bible that was written BEFORE Muhammad was even born says this:

1 - Exodus 3:15 God also said to Moses, "Say this to the Israelites: Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever; this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.

2 - Luke 16:16 – The Law and the Prophets were until John the Baptist.

3 - 1 John 2:22 Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah). Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father (God) and the Son. 23: No one who denies the Son has the Father (God).
