If God knows everything, including all the bad stuff I do, doesn't that mean that everything bad I do is rationalized or at least trivialised because it all is part of his supposed plan to turn the whole world into a utopian paradise or whatever? I'm looking for actual answers here not, "god doesn't exist" or "you suck".

Many times i hear non-Christians say "Im tired of Christians forcing their beliefs on me". Truth is, many Christians don't force their beliefs on anyone.

Most non-Christians think your forcing your belief on them just by walking up to them. This isn't Force (See Examples below Please)

First you have to define the term "Force"

"Power made operative against resistance; exertion"
"The use of physical power or violence to compel or restrain"

(Ex. I walk up to someone and try to witness to them
they don't want to hear it but i keep insisting), This is "FORCING OUR BELIEF"

(Ex 2. I walk up to someone and try to witness to them, they dont want to hear it so i say "Ok" God bless, and walk away).
This is "NOT FORCING"

To many Christians, it is not their intention to offend anyone but just want to get the word out, a Good Christian will not "Force" but insisting "Is Force"

Non-Christians, What are your views on this matter?
I hope you understand and im not attacking.

Fellows,

Why is it that some people assume that a believer in evolution cannot also be a believer in God? Evolution does not definitively disprove Christianity or creationism- it merely provides a method through which an ultimate goal can be accomplished. I personally know and have worked with hundreds of christian scientists and medical workers who believe in evolution because they know what it entails.

So why am I considered an atheist if I believe in evolution? Where's the logic in that?

Firstly I must say I am not a Christian or any other organised religion but I do respect others faiths. My questions, and I have a few, are
1. If there is only one god why do some Christians worship the Virgin Mary?
2. If there is only one god who do Christians worship Jesus, he was the son of God not God himself.
3. If there is only one god why does the bible say 'thou shalt worship no other gods before me', surely that is saying there is more than one god.
As I said these are serious questions, I'm not getting at anybody or disrespecting their beliefs I'm just interested.

What is wrong with not knowing something? I constantly hear things like 'ok then how was the world created then if it wasn't god'

The simple answer is I do not know how the world was created! I am intrigued to know but I am never going to know this, nobody will for sure. So why is this an issue? Am I supposed to believe in god becuase there is no better answer?! Is this how religion got people on boad in the first place? It also doesn't mean 100% that I believe in evolution although it seems more likely. I don't have to believe in anything!!!

My question goes more to the divisions within Christianity.

If one group says “this act is a sin” While another says “No it’s not”.
If your group says “Not- it’s not” but you KNOW that other Christians believe it so, you can’t say you were ignorant of the possibility.

At this point you have to decide if it’s a harmless action or a sin. Lets say you decide it’s a harmless action and do it.

You have now done this with INTENT, ACTION and KNOWLEDGE that it might be a sin.

Example:

Church of Christ believes it’s a sin to use musical instruments to praise god.
Most other churches think its fine.

So, you decided it's "ok".
You use musical interments.
You die.

While judged, you find out it was a sin!
Would it be held against you? You played the piano in church with INTENT, ACTION and KNOWLEDGE)

Why can't people understand everybody is going 'someplace'. If 'loved relatives get there first, maybe it's a GOOD action. They didn't need liveing thro the love/hate atnosphere that is earth's atnosphere.

If the atheists would start their own category, can Christians and people who are not close-minded about God agree to give them their space? Maybe we could teach them some manners by example. Before I got on this Q&A site a short time ago, I mistakenly thought there was some organization and thought put into the answer. Now I see it is little more than a free-for-all. How sad. Since the atheists seem to lack incentive to actually start something, let's help them with a name for their own category. Now, let's be good, and give them their own space so they will be forced to think instead of just tear us down. Let's help them out.

The bible is against Divorce unless "Adultry" is comitted, im just curious as to why many are divorcing.

"He answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." (Matthew 19:4-6).

We must not jump to conclutions about Deu 24: 1-3 and say "Since God allowed divorce in the OT and he doesn't change then we can divorce now"

The NT talks on the subject of divorce:

"Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery"
(Matthew 19:9; see also Matthew 5:31, 32).

This is just one of the many.
