However, the most pleasing name for him was 'Ramadas' (devotee of Rama). All his skills and energy were sanctified in the service of the Lord. Real devotion to Hanuman should foster the spirit of selfless service to man and unshakable faith in God. Develop these values and Hanuman will come to you. You may recite Hanuman Chalisa - the hymn composed by Tulsidas. This will provide you with great love for Hanuman and give you strength and courage.

Read more about Lord Hanuman. Read the books written about with him which has true information. Go to the temple of this god on saturday. Lord Hanuman is the great devotee of Lord Ram so I think you should worship Lord Ram too.
I will say Lord Ram not Rama because the actual way to pronouce is Lord Ram not Rama as said by the foreigners .
Lord Hanuman has said that whereever there is a prayer or worship going about Ramanya he is there in the form of air.
He is son of Air God indirectly.
So if you have a cd of Ramanya or casatte so start playing .
Try to absorb the nature of Lord Hanuman i.e the positive points .
There is a common misunderstanding that the devotee of Lord Hanuman should avoid females.
Lord Hanuman loved his mother very much.
One can be a householder and be his devotee too.

i used to read hanuman chalisa and sundara kandam which tells u the story of lord hanuman if u read it daily u can know some changes that happens in ur life and also u can write "sree ramajayam" 108 times a day

A little shrine in your home with an illustration of Hanuman on the wall might be nice. Decorate with little sculptures of monkeys displayed on a shelf under the picture. Have incense to burn and read up on him more. Since this is the 21st century, maybe you could find a monkey charm to wear around your neck on a leather cord or find a keychain with a monkey on it.
