The bible makes it clear that sin is Sin, we are all guilty and not one is anymore or any less guilty then the other.
------------------
Homosexuals some say they were born that way, yes indeed they were born sinfully natured as everyone else but just because you feel as if what your doing is right don't mean it is, because their are people who think killing people is ok that dont mean it is, God allows you to be dwelt in certain sins so they themself may conquer that sin and teach others to stay strong no matter what theyre strugglin with.

It seems nobody knows the Bible for themselves but follow the teachings of ministers instead of the teachings of Jesus himself.

It seems many Christians are that in name only.
It seems people attend services to be pacified, tickled and entertained. Read Acts and look at the church today...see a difference? I do.
Will not God require an account to the churches today?
Like Jesus said "..when the Son of Man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?"

The Trinity: According to the Quran (Surah 5:116, 5:73-75) the Christians believe in "three Gods" - Father, Mother, and Son. This shows the influence of heretical 'Christian' sects in central Arabia at the time of Muhammad. In contrast, Christianity has always distinctly stated that the Trinity is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The teaching of the Quran on the Trinity has undoubtedly led to confusion among many Muslims on what the Bible (and thus Christianity) teaches about the Triune God

If God is All-knowing, then why did he bother with the whole apple tree business when he would have known that they were going to take an apple anyway? It would have been much simpler to cut out the middle man. On that note, surely the idea of an All-Knowing God would negate free will? As God is All-Knowing then he would know everything that will happen, which means everything to do is predestined as he already knows what will happen. So we have no free will because we have no choice but to follow the path God knows will occur. Thoughts? What is the Christian view on free will?

I just have a question. Church by most religious scholars is defined as the place or building where a group of believers worship God/Jesus/Lord, etc. and fellowship with one another. So isn't is a little misleading to call yourself a church when God isn't even on the agenda? An example would be Church of Scientology or Church of Satan, neither of which have anything to do with God.

Ok first of all, I am athiest so I dont need athiests flooding the wall with "there is no hell." One can seek understanding without believing.

From what I understand, Islam's perception of hell is torturous not because God is punishing them but because the sinner brought the torture upon themselves. What are other religion's take on this or if you want to correct or elaborate on my understanding. Thanks.

Even though the people who wrote the bible had no knowledge of the world or science, what God is the right God to worship? I really don't care about your opinion and have a special place in my frontal lobe to murder these oppressing, bothersome, and irritating idiots- especially mormons. The funny part is I am not a non-believer. I am sick and tired of people sitting at home asking God for money, material items, or emotional support when they need to get off their behinds and do something to better themselves. What gives these people the right to dictate anything when all they do is cry about handouts all of the time?

Why are some people so set in particular direction?

Are these the same people who burned people alive for being heretics?

I just don't get it. I grew up with the bible in my hand, and sunday school, and all of that stuff.
I KNOW WHAT I'M MISSING!

I'm an intelligent individual who can make up his own mind about what to believe, BASED ON FACTS.

But some people, want to just spout out hear-say instead of sticking to the facts....
What makes them so BLINDED?

We ex-Christians reject the bible for many reasons. For many of us the main reason is that we have read it and found the murder, torture, slavery, rape, etc to be disagreeable to us. We don't listen to Christian preaching because we would not want to worship a deity, or any being, who ordered these acts committed, if this deity existed. We do not believe this deity exists because these acts are atrocities against humanity.
