If you're talking about Tarot cards that is demonic occult, stay away from it. Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God (Leviticus 19:31).
When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? (Isaiah 8:19).

Are you speaking of magic tricks like the magicians do when they put on a card show? Probably nothing wrong with watching card tricks for entertainment purposes but be careful to distinguish the difference.

I do not. Consider the power of suggestion: if you buy into these things, your view of life could be warped by their beliefs and effect your decisions. I say do not go, I went once and for $30 I had a lady tell me from my palm, I would meet a blonde haired blue eyed woman with a son, and then introduced me to her friend right afterwards.....I was not impressed.

I believe in these things but I'm not afraid of them. You don't have to go with these people if you don't want anything to do with mysticism. To me, magic is another level of creation that we haven't been able to fully understand because we can't test it. That's what makes it scarey-the unknown. Your friends need to respect your boundaries.

I am a Christian, and I had a Tarot card reading once before I became Christian. It was terribly accurate. I would warn you that it was a personal thing. God was using all sorts of spiritual things to tell me that spiritual things were real.

So if you go, remember that.

I believe that it can be an amusing form of entertainment, but it is not really capable of predicting the future.

If you want to try it, go right ahead. Just don't take it too seriously.

I don't believe in fortune telling... I have been to fortune tellers at carnival's it's always fun to see how frustrated they get when you don't give them the signals they need to read your body language...

Let me tell you this. If someone is TRUELY psychic, they are going to use their abilities to help mankind and not to make a fortune. So consider your source when you go to one of those things.

Tarot? I believe you can take a purely psychological approach to the practice and benefit from it, if used properly.

i accept both. magic is really nothing more than a type of quantum physics, and the tarot is psychological.
