Sometimes we find it difficult to pray/talk to someone that is not in front of us literally. Praying to God is like having a conversation with ourselves in some regards and many of us find it difficult to find that special way to talk/pray to God.

All I can suggest is to be patient and persevere...dont do the formal prayers which have a lot of ritual movements etc with them(Im assuming your muslim but if not its ok) just find a quiet place and contemplate, meditate, imagine what you would want to say to someone that you hadnt seen for a long time but wanted them to know how your feeling, your hopes and dreams, your problems etc. Try to imagine that that "person" will understand you no matter what you say....will forgive you no matter what your sin....will love you if you just turn to "him" when ever you need and even when you dont.

It takes time to find that quiet place inside yourself...,maybe you are stressing too much about it...in the end we all have to approach God in our own way...in the end God is always waiting for us to take the first step.

You're not going to be able to pray if your husband is making you. There are lots of different ways to pray. You can meditate on a phrase or passage of scripture. Sometimes I pray best when I'm walking. It's conversation, it doesn't have to be perfect words. It can be sitting still and silent. What are you grateful for? What are you worried about? Begin and end each day by reflecting on what made you glad, or sad.

You need to read the Bible and the word of God will teach you how to pray..
Try the Lord's prayer Matthew 6:9
that is a good example prayer and you can work from there..
It starts out "our Father which art in heaven"
Have you made him your Father? Are you born again?
If not then he needs to be your Father before you can pray to him. Prayer is talking to God our Father and if you haven't become his child then you need to do that first.

maybe u are having a hrd time accepting the church because it is not the one for u. different denominations worship differently and u may should try visiting them.... as for praying... u should always feel comfortable because u dont have to use big words or fancy language. this is u going to Him as humble as you know how and and I can promise if it is something that u are not used to doing, jus like ne thing else, it will get easier when time.it doesnt have to be a long outdrawned prayer God does understand

I went through the same thing, the fact that this situation has struck your mind sounds to me that God is making you aware of this Issue. your need to first examine why it is you have this problem, Why do you get bored? why is is so hard for you questions of that sort are the type of questions you should ask yourself, after asking yourself these questions try to figure out how to resolve these problems, maybe take sometime to read into the word starting in the gospels, I believe God has allowed you to have this issue to conquer the issue and if someone else you know may have this issue you can guide them, Me myself i had this issue and I tell you now paul spoke of exactly this and he said take time to sit and examine yourself then find ways tro resolve.

My initial question would be how do you try to pray? If it seems like your prayers are too structured, go out to the park and find a nice place to rest and just think about life. Try to invite God into the conversation.

That is how I tend to pray.

Prayer is simply talking with God.
It's not about religion, the church or your husbands belief.
It's about your belief and relationship with the living God.

It is not enough to know about God...
You have to get to really know Him to talk with Him.
The little bit of faith... that there is a God, that He can hear and answer your prayer opens the door to meet and to know Him as your personal Savior and friend.
Ask Him to help.... he will answer and show that He is real.

Praying is nothing more than talking to God. He doesn't expect us to use elaborate words and stuff, He already knows what you are going to pray , before you start. The reason ,why your head hurts , when you try , is satan attempting to stop you from doing it. Just press on and try to talk to God , what is on your heart.

Think of it as spiritual exercise. Just like physical you need to start small and work your way up. Try some short prayers regularly first and see how you go. You can add more as time goes on.

Cheers :-)
