This is the thing about some Christians. You act as if your God is some genie who is supposed to grant you wishes when you pray to him. Don't you think you ought to pray for things like strength and courage, or some other sort of thing like that that would help you help yourself get the job instead of just asking him for the job like a lazy jerk? You probably shouldn't treat your God like some wish granter. Hell, I wouldn't even depend on God for nothing, prayer won't get you anywhere. Sitting around waiting for God to magically give you a job isn't going to happen. Get out there and prove you can do the job to your future boss. Quit sitting on your rear expecting your nonexistent God to get you a job, because chances are, if he's real, he's sitting on his *** as well. What are two dudes sitting on their *** going to do? Nothing.

Is it your pray or a business deal with God ?
You trust on God but on your own terms!

Don't think about the best-man when it is btween You and God!! He is all-knowing and mercyfull.

Just start pray without any desire...don't tell what you want...just ask the best for yourself!

God already knows what is the best for you.

Be firm on your faith and strive hard to achieve your goals...The success is yours!!

There's no way to "hurry God" . . . all time is God's time . . . There is no "best man of God" . . . God listens to all of His children . . . so everyone of us is the "best man/woman of God".

However, it can help to have others pray for your special intention and tho I don't know you ... I will remember you in my prayers that you get a job soon.

Pray for the strength to search and for God to open your eyes and ears. Pray that he will send someone to aid you.
Otherwise, I wouldn't waste time praying to get answers immediately.

God will not be dictated to by anyone.

Humble yourself and trust Him to provide whats best for you at the right time.

You do not know God my friend - why should HE know you?

(Of course He does, He loves you, but why should He just do as YOU require? Do YOU do as HE requires??)

God doesn't answer your prayers to satisfy your desires. He answers the prayers of His children to satisfy what He knows that they NEED.

...why don't you build up that resume to get that job. While you're waiting, why don't you read the book of John in the bible.

Get real Ben! God isn't your genie in the lamp. Seek His will and you'll be taken care of in the mean time.

There's a phrase, "pray, but row away from the rocks."

Meaning

Get off your backside and go job hunting.

Please consider your relationship with God. Are you trying to use Him, or as His servant expressing a request. All the same, I pray you'll get a job.
