How would a hooker be a victim of exploitation in every situation? They make the choice to be whores. They make the choice to sleep with people for money. The only way they can be a victim of exploitation or otherwise..is if they are FORCED into something that they -don't- actually WANT to do.

They make this "career choice". I highly doubt every single hooker in the world has been forced into prostitution.

Here's a question for you. A porn star is also a hooker..they are having sex for money. Are porn stars victims of exploitation?

Three thumbs down within minutes, lmao. Hot damn, I'm on a roll. People seriously need to grow up..

Daisy:
Are you crazy or something? You're trying to put blame on the men. Men aren't exploiting her if she is willingly letting them have sex with her for money. She made the choice to let men use her for sex, in most cases of prostitution. She's exploiting herself.

To be a victim of exploitation she would have to be used or minipulated by the man for his own adavntage wouldnt she? How is it an advantage if they come to an agreement on a fair price ahead of time - if its fair it cant be exploited....that just doesnt add up. So the short answer to your question would be NO...not in every situation.

That brings us to the unasked question - when is she really a victim of exploitation. This would be when the man decides to go beyond the agreed upon arrangement and the hooker says NO....at that point the verbal contract is broken and anything afterward is to the advantage of the man.

if she's self-employed (lol), and if you see her as exploiting herself, yeah, she's a victim every time, but she's no more a victim of exploitation than an alcoholic is a victim of alcoholism. though it's not the greatest choice she could probably make, it's still her choice.

I think, largely. It is hard to imagine that it would be a career choice, although I suppose we don't kow every reason why women become prostitutes. I'm sure some women just lok on it as easy money.
If men respect hookers, then no. Unfortunately, most men regard sex workers as "slags". Why do men pay for sex, lie for sex, do anything for sex, but treat women who are sexual as something beneath contempt?

I think in at least 90 % of cases. haveing meet a prostitute in pakistan I heard how after being widowed she had no income or way to live other than that and yet men how despise her are will to pay to abuse her they would not help her other wise.

no - however it is the case for many. We need to work towards helping them have the choice.

It does strike me as very peculiar that a woman is condemned for using her body to earn from sex directly where if she did it - striding around a car walk she is a hero and paid millions.

No, I'm not foolish enough to speak in absolute terms.

Your question proves nothing because the point is moot.

Believe it or not, even a whore can be raped.

At least that's what my lawyer says.

His wife got raped, so I'm not sure if there's a connection there or not.
