plz dont get me wrong. i didnt say Bible wasnt word of God (even though i believe it isnt). Some Christians and non Christians have heating arguments about whether Bible is from God or not. I observed that Das Capital wasnt the word of God yet people did follow it, and in large numbers. Same with Bible, no?
As one lady said, she will follow it all the way long no matter what. That was precisely my point, my dear.

If you do not believe that the bible is the inspired word of God, I respect your right to think that.
I do believe it, dear, and I will for all of time.

It does matter when people constantly insist it is.
By saying does it matter, then you will have to say that ALL of the bible was written by man and for his need to control. All the arguments about it being against God's word goes out the window. Saying that the 10 commandments are god's law is not true. So yeah it matters if you want to try and force people to fear hell. It matters if people are going to follow the bible without questioning the reason behind what was written.

well...... i wouldn't make that comparison untill Das Kapital is being talked about and read every day after another 1,000 years. I mean i personally believe that it is the word of god because what other book has been around as long as it has, and has sustained the amount of importance and popularity that it has. i dnt think its "just another book". good question though

It is a good way to get control of people to live their life from a book however do they really sick to the book : )
I find people that believe in the bible just don't have the strength to believe in themselves and the funny thing about that is
That is why we are here to believe in ourselves and trust our own judgments and take charge of our own responsibility for what we do : )

Good Question!
Yes, and look how much devastation has been wrought for the works of those books. More than 200 million dead in one century. More than 2 million imprisoned and tortured in labor camps!
More suffering, more death, more starvation, caused by those two books than all of the wars of the previous thousand years COMBINED.

That is what the Devil has been attacking since day one - the Word of God.
(Yea, has God said......???)
Why do you suppose that is?
By grace are you saved, through faith....
