Last year all issues in my life were going absolutely upside down. I had that sickness which lasted for 6 months and put me on steroids. My job was going all the way wrong.... an so on and so on... I've prayed God more than anything. Just to help me not to suffer anymore. Because I've suffered more than I can handled. Then everything has changed. I thought that he has heard my prayers. But I guess he did not. 3 weeks ago I was raped, and 3 days ago my relationship has broke down in such a disgusting way. Now I am all alone, I have no reason to wake up in the mornings anymore. Enough is enough. Can you tell me whom shall pray now? Or how shall I pray. Cause I'm trying to pray almost every second that I'm not working. I walk with bible in my hands, Still it is not enough. Whom shall I cling to? Won't there be any justice in this world? Is it too much for me to be happy even though I had been always thankful to God?

Can't you see how the Bible prophicies are being fulfilled as I type this.

But not when the Roman Empire fell.

And definitely not when the black plague knocked out over 1/3 of Europe.

And most certaintly not during not one, but TWO world wars.

No my friends the end is nigh like it's never been nigh before.

Why did Jesus have to die for our sins? Is it because we would all go to hell if it were not for him dying?

This doesn't make sense... what purpose would God have in making this deal?:
"I will sacrifice my son so I don't have to... " what?

If God is omnipotent, why would it be necessary to sacrifice God's son for any purpose? What would've happened if he didn't?

Also, I still don't understand this thing about the monotheistic trinity...? What's up with that? Is it one? Is it three? I'm not trying to be clever (it's not like I'm the first person to wonder about this stuff), this stuff just doesn't jibe.

For me it was that menstruating women have to remain in special tents for a prescribed number of days. I think this could really pick up tent sales at GI Joes.

I mean mankind has not exactly behaved in a Christian like manner for the last 2,000 years. If you were God would you make the same sacrifice again? Do you think it would work this time around as there would be better coverage of the event?

Leviticus 18:22 states homosexual activities are an abomination
Leviticus 11:9-12 states that the eating of shrimp is an abomination

So I asked a question about by what method do Christians justify one, while still condemning the other. Why is it ridiculous? I'd like to know why one is no longer condemned.

And then come back and tell me how, when I have said many many times that my book, "The Book of Barabbas" is strictly a work of fiction, I managed to be accused not only of anti-semitism (I have gotten several emails that actually contain death threats! I have never considered myself as an anti-anything!)....but now, I am actually being accused of blasphemy!
Ain't life interestin'.......

Hi. I am 26, married with four children. I do not attend church because of my location it is not feasable, but I would like to have someone to talk with once in a while. My husband is not an active believer/worshipper, so I don't feel right talking with him about some things.
I am Christian, but I am open to talking with anyone. I like learning about different religions or lack of them.
Only serious answers please.
Thanks.

to be regarded as saint in the catholic church one must passed many stages and requirements..and the basic one is that a candidate must be dead.

But in the Bible we can see from Paul's writings that he addressed his fellow Christians by calling them saints. They're still alive. And he was aware that these saints were also sinners. That's why from his writings we can see that he is not only exhorting them but also rebuking them for their wrongdoings.

Did the apostles aware of these 'steps for sainthood' the catholic church has? if yes, any Bible verse (not from tobith, macabees, etc please)?

It hurts so much sometimes. You invest so much and all you get is hurt.

What is the point of even loving or being loved?

I feel so discouraged about this in general.....

I have a guy at work who knows that I will help him when he gets behind. As time passes he gets further and further behind knowing that I will come in and take up the slack as a good employee. He and the boss are "buddies", the boss just comments how funny it is that he's lazy and laughs it off. What I have struggled with is is what to do here. The Bible says we should work as onto the Lord. The obvious answer is to stop helping as much or confront him about it. I was thinking though if Jesus was standing right there instead of my supervisor....I would probably just not complain and go do the work anyway! What's your advice?

Would you be willing to give up your life as you know it and move to some remote part of the world to win them to Christ If God calls you there. Say God calls you to go to Brazil, in the Amazon Jungle, live among the natives and teach them about Him. Would you leave everything you know and go?
I dont want to see "God sometimes calls you to serve where you are" or anything like that. I will consider it a copout and give it a thumbs down. Please anawer the question posted.
